In the 9-10th episodes of Ever Night Chinese Drama Recap, Chong Ming sends killer to the academy to kill Emperor Tang. But they killers almost kill Li Yu. Ning Que gets a good score to step into academy, and sees Jun Mo’s stunning magic art. He asks him to be his teacher, but Jun Mo refuses him because his point is sealed.
Ever Night Chinese Drama Recap: Episode 9

Emperor Tang has to take care of sixth prince, so he asks Li Yu to invigilate for him. Ning Que and Sang Sang arrives at academy, and people gather at the gate. She worries about him, but he is confident. Zhong Dajun pushes people away to break into, and pushes over Sang Sang. He abuses her, and Ning Que is furious to argure with him. But Zhong Dajun ignores him and leaves. Zhu Youxian persuades Ning Que that Zhong Dajun is Li Yu’s cousin.
Li Yu and Hun Yuan arrive. Zhong Ming doesn’t see Emperor Tang, so he leaves. The chief Huang He leads people to welcome Li Yu. Zhong Dajun greets Li Yu and flatters Hun Yuan. Ning Que doesn’t want to see his face, and takes Sang Sang away. Li Peiyan finds out Emperor Tang didn’t come, so he has to invigilate with Li Yu.

Ning Que thinks the person giving subject is too stupid during the first examination, and writes down the answer to leave. Li Yu knows Fu Zi gave the subject in person, and worries Ning Que cannot answer the question.
Ning Que attends the second examination, he cannot answer the question, so he fills the paper according to what Ma Shixiang told him, willing to win the score with his beautiful texts. He regrets that he didn’t learn some instruments during the music examination. He admits that he knows nothing about it, and gives up. Li Yu sees him leaving examination hall again, and is anxiety to stand up. Li Hunyuan and Li Peiyan see that she likes Ning Que.
Chong Ming arranges killers sneaking into academy, it’s too late to cancel the plan. Fu Zi lets third teacher Yu Lian and twelfth teacher Chen Pipi mark the papers. Chen Pipi praises Ning Que’s answer, but Yu Lian thinks Ning Que has evil intention to write beautiful texts. The sixth examination requires students to shoot each other, and the one who doesn’t get shot wins. Chong Ming sends killers to sneak into woods, and they surround Zhu Youxian. Ning Que kills the killer, and finds a token from him.

Chong Ming cannot cancel the plan, so he has to visit Li Yu. The seventh teacher opens fog formation, the woods is surrounded by fog. Ning Que chases killers, and one of them targets Li Yu. Chong Ming warns Li Yu to leave. It’s too late to stop the killer, so he shoots Li Yu to avoid the risk. Because student’s arrows are not sharp. Ning Que is surrounded by killers, and Jun Mu kills the killers rapidly. Ning Que is stunned and asks him to be his teacher. But Jun Mo refuses because his point doesn’t open.
Li Peiyan asks to investigate since Li Yu is safe. Hua Shanyue thinks Chong Ming’s appearance is queer, suspecting what killer’s target was Emperor Tang, and Chong Ming attended it.
Chen Pipi goes down hill without permission to look for Jun Mo, and Jun Mo punishes him to copy book. Ning Que reports to Xu Chongshan that the killer took the token of Fuguo Hui. Xu Chongshan asks Ning Que to look for the rest of Fuguo Hui at academy, but Ning Que isn’t confident of his examination.

Xu Chongshan seals all of streets to search for people of Fuguo Hui. Chong Ming cheers the members up to restore their country.
Ever Night Chinese Drama Recap: Episode 10
Chong Ming prepares wines to drink with the members and kills them with poison. He doesn’t want to leave any clue to disclose his identity. He Mingchi asks him to leave.
Xu Chongshan finds the camp of Fuguo Hui, but the people are killed. He only finds a mask Chong Ming wore. Chong Ming admits his guilt to Emperor Tang, claiming that he didn’t manage the people of Yan kingdom well, so Li Yu got hurt. He claims that he didn’t hear Fuguo Hui and wants to investigate it. Emperor Tang warns him to be utilized, and Chong Ming swears not to betray Emperor Tang’s kindness.
Li Yu visits Emperor Tang and thanks Chong Ming for saving her. Emperor Tang agrees Hun Yuan to study at academe. Just then the sixth prince is sick again, so he goes to see him. Luo Kedi knows Chong Ming’s failure and decides to give up him. He swears to get rid of the palace of light, so Long Qing doesn’t have any place to go. Mo Li reports Chong Ming’s failure to Emperor Yan and asks him to give him a answer if west palace spent a lot on Fuguo Hui.
Long Qing gives a iced Saussurea involucrata to Lu Chenjia. She wants to keep the flower but it requires a lot of mind power. Long Qing is willing to do it, and the flower thaws. Lu Chenjia offers Long Qing a cup of tea.
Ning Que is upset of his examination, Sang Sang persuades him to examine it next year. He doesn’t want to stay at capital too long, so he goes to see his score. He got three A, Zhong Dajun shows off that Ning Que is his best friend, and wants to take him to Hongxiu Zhao.
The priest of light palace is poisoned to death, and priest Xuan Yi asks Long Qing to the unknowable place and gives him a token because west palace cannot tolerate light palace now. Just then Long Qing finds out someone is eavesdropping, so he chases the masked person to outside. But he is arrested for killing priest Xuan Yi.
Long Qing flees to peach hill, Lu Chenjia helps him hide. The members of justic department arrive to search for him, Lu Chenjia shows her status of princess. They find the blood, and fights with Lu Chenjia. Long Qing has to help her, but the members are numerous, and they are arrested. Just then Ye Hongyu shows up to save them. Long Qing wants to unite Ye Hongyu to get rid of Luo Kedi, but she thinks he is too weak. Long Qing claims he can get Luo Kedi’s next plan.
Li Manman wants to exchange his book with Ning Que’s black umbrella, but Ning Que rejects it. Zhu Youxian finds out the female student are pretty, and falls for the leader Situ Tilan.
The teacher Cao Zhifeng teaches students that the academy’s rule is manner. But one of students disagrees and thinks fist is manner. Cao Zhifeng beats the student up, and reveals he comes from Yan kingdom. Ning Que knows the teacher is a big mindmaster.
The next day, students arrive at old library, and Yu Lian leads them to visit. Her looks stuns students.
