Does Dongfang Qingcang’s Emotion Tree Sprout?

The woman tells Orchid that each woman in their clan wears the flower because their husbands were killed. Orchid feels sorry for mentioning the woman’s sad story. The woman thinks she should live even if she lost her husband. Orchid turns around. She sees Dongfang Qingcang.
Orchid resurrects the flower. She reminds Dongfang Qingcang that human cannot be resurrected. She wishes the women’s families can come back. The women pay their respect to Dongfang Qingcang after they saw him. He wonders why Madam Tie didn’t pay her respect to him.

Madam Tie claims that she will do it after Dongfang Qingcang answers her question. The woman cries to tell Madam Tie that the clanswomen will be killed if she offends Dongfang Qingcang. Madam Tie cries to ask Dongfang Qingcang where he went when the clansmen were killed.
Madam Tie mentions her son was sealed in Xuanxu Realm. She asks Dongfang Qingcang to take his son back. Dongfang Qingcang walks away. Orchid follows him to the cliff. She asks him why he didn’t explain it to them. She thinks he didn’t intend to give up them.
Dongfang Qingcang refuses to tell it to Orchid. He mentions what she said that everyone has secrets. She tells him that she’s envy of him because his father accompanied him to hunt. She tells him that she has never felt the feelings of owning parents.
Dongfang Qingcang remembers his father accompanied him to practice sword and play ball. He tells Orchid not to be envy of him. He adds that he prefers to live like her. But she thinks it’s too lonely. He mentions what he said that emotion and worry are burdens.
Orchid laughs because she thinks Dongfang Qingcang didn’t tell his true feelings to her. She mentions he didn’t give Madam Tie a hard time when she scolded him. She asks him if Madam Tie’s worry moved him. He claims that he just doesn’t want to hurt Madam Tie.
Orchid is surprised that Dongfang Qingcang has the emotion. She goes to see his emotion tree. She finds out that the tree sprouts. She’s happy to mention what she said that she can cure his emotion tree. Dongfang Qingcang has a nightmare that his father told him not to touch the ball when he wanted to play the ball with him.
Orchid brings the orchid to Dongfang Qingcang. She tells him that the orchid will help him sleep. But he tells her to take the orchid away. She mentions her emotion tree. He tells her that he suffered hell to remove his emotions. He reminds her that he can only protect Moon Clan when he’s heartless.
Love Between Fairy and Devil: Episode 16 Ending
Episode 16 of Love Between Fairy and Devil ends with Orchid asking Dongfang Qingcang if Xun Feng intended to be friend with Sea City. He tells her that Xun Feng was tricked by Sea City Lord. She tells him to forgive Xun Feng because they’re brothers.
