Situ Mo goes with Fu Pei when he asks for a talk. She runs into the elevator and remembers he asked for a change when hugging her. She returns home and is startled as Wei Yi is sharpening the knife. He gets the drink for her and asks why Fu Pei visited her.
She thinks it’s not his business. He claims that her mom Ms. Huang asked him to watch her. Situ Mo remembers that Fu Pei asked her to stay together. But she rejected. So he thought that she fell for someone else. She denied and said that she just didn’t like him.
He asked her why she stayed around him and pretended to like him. She was in tears and said that she told herself that he was protecting her when Fu Pei told Jie Er that they didn’t stay together. She thought he just feared when he released her hand at the bridge.
She thought he just forgot it when he promised her but didn’t show up. But she couldn’t convince herself when he smiled and wanted her to introduce girlfriend to him. She thought she was miserable when he fled from Wei Yi’s house. Situ Mo wiped her tear and mentions he kissed Wang Shan.
She said that she didn’t feel sad for him anymore. She felt sad because she found out that she didn’t like him anymore on the end. She said that he left her when he fled each time. She wanted to buy medicine for Fu Pei, but he hugged her. She asked him to release her, and said that she didn’t like him anymore.
But he wanted to kiss her. She pushed him over and fled away. Situ Mo tells Wei Yi that she got confessed and had a fight. He asks her if Fu Pei hit her. She says that she hit Fu Pei because he kept saying something to her. Wei Yi knows Situ Mo rejected Fu Pei, and smirks.
He returns his room and plays the pop can in the bed. But he gets hit, and his nose is bleeding. Wang Shan calls Fu Pei, but he doesn’t pick up his phone. He shows up, and she takes him to have a seat. She applies the medicine on his face, and he tells her that Situ Mo rejected his confessing.
She thinks Situ Mo hit him. But he says that it was his dad, and reveals he kept getting hit since childhood. He says that Situ Mo doesn’t like him anymore. Wang Shan tells Fu Pei that she likes him, and asks for a chance. She says that she can wait for him.
He thinks he is timid and always flees when meeting the trouble, so other people think he is fickle. Fu Pei thinks he cannot match Wang Shan. But she thinks he isn’t timid as he saved her ever, and he isn’t fickle as he only loves Situ Mo. She tells him that she will keep visiting him, and gets him up.
In the meeting room, Sha Sha asks Situ Mo for the ideas to the insurance client. She likes her idea of surprise strategy. Just then Wang Shan texts Situ Mo and asks her to hand over the thesis. So Situ Mo asks for leave to Li Na. Li Na agrees but she mentions Jie Er never asks for leave.
Situ Mo and Wang Shan arrive at the printing shop. Situ Mo worries about the format of her thesis. Wei Yi tells her to worry about the content instead of format when he shows up with Yu Yin. He introduces Yu Yin to Situ Mo. Situ Mo says that she saw Yu Yin ever. Yu Yin asks if Situ Mo is Wei Yi’s girlfriend.
Wei Yi asks Yu Yin how she knows it. Situ Mo explains that she lay for helping Wei Yi join Professor Jiang’s team, and says that Wei Yi isn’t her boyfriend. Situ Mo pays the bill and calls Wei Yi but he ignores her as he is talking with Yu Yin. She loses her temper when getting the paper together.
Wang Shan walks Situ Mo and tells her that she confessed to Fu Pei. But he rejected her. She says that she won’t give up. Situ Mo reveals Fu Pei confessed to her two days agao, and pities Wang Shan. Because Fu Pei is a huge pit. But Wang Shan thinks Situ Mo meets another pit after one pit. Situ Mo asks Wang Shan what she means. But Wang Shan flees away.
Situ Mo walks in the dorm. But Meng Lu asks Situ Mo for meal. Situ Mo reveals she doesn’t get her salary, and her mom paid the rent for her. Meng Lu thinks she needs to talk with Wei Yi, and asks Situ Mo to invite her to her house. So she can scold Wei Yi. But Situ Mo rejects it and is informed that Wei Yi’s mom wants to treat her the meal.
Situ Mo and Wei Yi wait for Ms. Xu at the restaurant. Ms. Xu shows up, and Situ Mo welcomes her. Ms. Xu asks them to have seats, and orders mantis shrimp, which Wei Yi likes most. Situ Mo asks Wei Yi if he is allergy to mantis shrimp. He says that his mom mistook it. But Ms. Xu remembers Wei Yi liked the food at grandmother’s house when he was still a kid. Wei Yi interrupts Ms. Xu and says that she didn’t have time to accompany to him during his childhood.
Ms. Xu thinks she might mistake it, and orders a fish. After the dinner, Ms. Xu walks Situ Mo out of the restaurant, and reveals she is scared when she stays with Wei Yi alone. She offers to have tea together, but Wei Yi called the cab for her. Situ Mo asks Wei Yi to teach her how to make her mom obey her.
Situ Mo calls Jie Er and asks her if she came up with the idea. Jie Er tells Situ Mo to think about the idea first. Just then Yuan Yuan carries the wine to Situ Mo. She smiles to Wei Yi and goes back to work. Niu Niu reminds Meng Lu that Situ Mo’s birthday is coming. Meng Lu decides to pick a gift for her.
Situ Mo tells Wei Yi that Meng Lu wanted to come over, and she rejected her. But Meng Lu and the roommates have arrived. Situ Mo wants to take them out. But Wei Yi lets her friends in. Situ Mo thinks he will regret. He says that it’s for her birthday. A Ke invites Fu Pei to Situ Mo’s birthday party. Fu Pei rejects it.
Meng Lu wants the balloons to fly to ceiling. But Situ Mo worries that it will leave the trace on the wall. She tells Wei Yi that she will defend their wall, but he wants to help her. He rubs her hair with balloon, she tells him to hurry up. But he says that he will begin to rub her skin of head. She rubs his hair with ballon instead.
Situ Mo fails the game, and she is required to stare at Wei Yi since they wear in yellow. She is nervous after the eye contact. Wei Yi fails the game. He is required to take selfie with someone he loves.
