This is the recap for Queen of Tears: Episode 5. Hae-In confesses to Hyun-Woo that she was scared before he leaves. He sees the wound on her leg. He walks to her and he gives her a hug. He bikes her to a place. They sit on the bench.
Queen of Tears Episode 5 Recap: Hyun-Woo Finds Hae-In In Germany
Hae-In reveals she came for supporting Hyun-Woo. Hyun-Woo takes a look at his wife’s good looking face. His family come to look for Hae-In. They find her. Du-Gwan doesn’t leave when he watches Hae-In and Hyun-Woo in the room. His wife takes him away. She closes the door.
Hyun-Woo uses the hairdryer to dry Hae-In’s hair because she doesn’t know how to use it. She stops him when he strokes her hair. Soo-Cheol brings the footage to Seon-Hwa. It shows that Hae-In went to see her father-in-law with food. Seon-Hwa gets angry. Because she thinks her daughter forgot her birthday.
Hyun-Woo intends to prepare some food for Hae-In. But she reveals she had a meal. Seon-Hwa watches Hae-In’s video. She finds out that she ate a lot. Hae-In brags to Hyun-Woo that the villagers gave her a lot of food. Bong-Ae interrogates her family for making sure that they didn’t leak Hyun-Woo’s divorce intention.
But her husband has told it to Yeong-Song. Du-Gwan visits Yeong-Song for making sure that he didn’t tell it to others. Yeong-Song confesses it to Du-Gwan that he told it to his mother. He comforts him that his mother doesn’t know who he is. He persuades him to care for the relationship of Hyun-Woo and Hae-In. Du-Gwan thinks there’s no problem because Hae-In came to support him proving that she loves his son.
Hyun-Woo dress Hae-In’s wound. She notes that her lifeline is very short. She worries that she will die. He yells at her when he persuades her that the hospital in Europe will cure her. She invites him to go to Europe with her. She closes her eyes when he intends to kiss her. But he leaves the room and he closes the door.
He runs out of the house. He leaves because he knows he will do something with Hae-In if he returns to the room. Hae-In persuades herself that her husband didn’t run away. She makes some excuses for him. But she finds out that he left so long.
He stays at the restaurant with Hyeon-Tae. Hyeon-Tae mistakes that Hyun-Woo had a fight with Hae-In. Hae-In texts Hyun-Woo. He asks her to sleep first. She tries to sleep. But she gets angry after realizing that he fears her. She finds him and she finds out that he’s drinking with Hyeon-Tae. She leaves. Hyun-Woo persuades himself not to fall for Hae-In. But he tears up when he lies on the floor. She returns home and she mentions they hasn’t slept together.
We go back to two years ago. Hyun-Woo walks into the room. He’s told that Hae-In asked the maids to clean up the room. He finds Hae-In outside. She’s heartless to think that she doesn’t need the nursery. He returns to the nursery. He asks the maid to put his stuff into the nursery. Because he intends to sleep there.
Hae-In is tired. She sees the workers carrying away her baby’s stuff. Hyun-Woo lies in the bed. He sees the star in the ceiling. He cries. She takes out the type-B ultrasound photo of her baby from the drawer. She’s sad as well. She tries to tear up the photo. But she puts it back to the drawer. She wipes off her tears.
We returns to the present. Hyun-Woo returns home in the morning. He sees Hae-In sitting on the bed. She reveals she didn’t sleep last night. She leaves the room. Hyun-Woo and Hae-In are going to leave. But Yeong-Song’s mother mentions the divorce in front of Hae-In. It makes Hyun-Woo’s family nervous.
Bong-Ae gives the food to Hae-In. She persuades her to care for her health. Hae-In leaves with Hyun-Woo. Mi-Seon has a talk with Hyeon-Tae. She learns that Hyun-Woo didn’t sleep with Hae-In last night. She wonders why they don’t love each other.
It flashes back. Mi-Seon meets with Hae-In at the cafe. She throws an envelope of cash to her. She asks her to leave Hyun-Woo. But Hyun-Woo takes Hae-In’s side when he holds her hand. Mi-Seon reveals Hae-In isn’t Hyun-Woo’s type. Hyun-Woo admits it. But he tells Hae-In that he loves her. He takes her away.
Hae-In and Hyun-Woo return home. He holds umbrella for her when it’s raining outside. She claims that she didn’t wait for him. But she notes that his shoulder is wet for holding the umbrella for her. She yells at him and they have a fight.
Eun-Sung comes to pick Hae-In up. Hyun-Woo sees his wife leaving with another man. He walks into the house when Eun-Sung is drinking with Hae-In. Hae-In sees Hyun-Woo. She returns to her room. Eun-Sung explains it to Hyun-Woo that he stays because he needs to run a business with Hae-In. He refuses to leave.
Hae-In is in the bathroom. She notes that someone drew a lifeline in her hand. She tries to wash it off. But she fails. She joins Eun-Sung. He learns that she didn’t sleep with Hyun-Woo. He remembers he told Grace Go that Hyun-Woo is a problem because they planned to ruin Queens Group.
He tells a lie to Hae-In that Hyun-Woo didn’t mind that he lives in her house. Hyun-Woo is in his room. He cares for the relationship of Hae-In and Eun-Sung. Soo-Cheol takes Hae-In to the restaurant. Seon-Hwa persuades Hae-In to eat with them. But she rejects it and she has a fight with Seon-Hwa. She leaves.
Soo-Cheol drinks with Eun-Sung. He reveals his mother got the talisman from the shaman for him. Because his mother thought Hae-In is stronger than him. Hae-In accepts the treatment in the hospital. The doctor tells her that she won’t be healed. She runs into the patient in the lobby. She knows he needs money to cure his illness. She orders juice from him.
Soo-Cheol reports to Man-Dae that Eun-Sung is going to invest in his project. But Hyun-Woo persuades Man-Dae to review the risk. He gets the footage from the woodsman. He lets the expert fix the footage. Seul-Hee talks with the chefs in the kitchen. She plans to feed Man-Dae chicken.
Beom-Ja is against it and she thinks Seul-Hee is a concubine of her father. Seul-Hee lets the chefs leave. She locks the door and she beats Beom-Ja. Beom-Ja reports it to Man-Dae. But he doesn’t believe that Seul-Hee would do so.
Beom-Ja meets with the detective. She asks him to look into Seul-Hee. Hae-In walks out of her office when she’s going to go to see Eun-Sung. But she finds out that she’s in the snow. She feels cold. Eun-Sung hugs her. It helps her leave the snow place.
She tries to leave with him. But she runs into her husband. Hyun-Woo notes that Eun-Sung hugs Hae-In’s shoulder. He cares for her. But she ignores him. She claims that she’s fine when she’s in the elevator with Eun-Sung. She goes to give a speech.
Eun-Sung meets with Grace Go. He asks her to look into the hospital Hae-In checked. Hae-In meets with the doctor. He persuades her not to go to Germany because her white blood cell is very low. She’s against it when he follows her out of his office. She turns around and she sees Beom-Ja.
Hae-In sits with Beom-Ja on the bench outside. She asks her not to tell it to others. Beom-Ja gives Hae-In a hug. She tries to contact her friend. But she’s told that her friend passed away because of brain tumor. She cries. She follows Hae-In to the parking lot after knowing she’s going to go to Germany.
She volunteers to join her. But Hae-In tells Beom-Ja that she wishes to go to Germany alone. She arrives at the airport. Beom-Ja waits for Hyun-Woo. She blames him for letting Hae-In leave alone. Hae-In is on the plane. She turns off her phone.
Hyun-Woo calls Hae-In. But she doesn’t pick up his phone. He drinks with his friend Yang-Gi on the beach. Yang-Gi offers to go to barbecue together. But Hyun-Woo isn’t interested in it. He checks the weather in Germany. It makes Yang-Gi believe that Hyun-Woo fell for his wife.
Hae-In arrives at the hospital in Germany. She accepts the treatment. Hyun-Woo watches Hae-In’s interview. He learns that she wished to travel with him. He tears up. He drives to the airport. He runs at the airport after he arrived in Germany.
Hae-In has a talk with the doctor. He persuades her to wait. She goes to the square. She sits on the stairs. She unties her shoes when she’s tired. She hears someone calling her. Hyun-Woo shows up. He takes out the shoes. He wears the shoes for her.

He mentions she wanted to come to the place. He blames her for making him cry. She cries to tell him that she doesn’t wish to be alone. She reaches her hand to him. She wishes to go home with him. He’s moved to hug her. He kisses her. Hyun-Woo draws the lifeline for Hae-In when she falls asleep in the car in the epilogue.
