But Crown Prince Han Ye wants to keep his fiancee Di Ziyuan’s life. Di Ziyuan sees the bodyguard killing the mother and the daughter. She stops him. Gu Yunnian points his sword at Di Ziyuan. He thinks Di families should be killed because they rebelled.
But Di Ziyuan doesn’t believe that her families would rebel. Han Ye shows up before Gu Yunnian kills Di Ziyuan. He tells Di Ziyuan to accept the order. She gets on knees to him. He reads Emperor Han’s order and tells her to go to Yongning Temple.
Gu Yunnian thinks Di Ziyuan should be killed according the laws of Great Jing. Han Ye hands over the imperial edict to Gu Yunnian. He helps Di Ziyuan get up. He tells her that he wants her to be his wife. But she thinks she cannot be his crown princess because her families were killed by his father.
Jiang Yu hands over the red umbrella to Di Ziyuan. Di Ziyuan leaves. Han Ye sees Di Ziyuan off. He wishes her to take care of herself. Di Ziyuan turns around with the red umbrella. Ji Li asks Han Ye if it’s worth it that he rejected others girls for Di Ziyuan.
Han Ye sees Luo Mingxi after the chancellor caught the culprits. He calls him. Luo Mingxi takes a look at the presents that were returned by Di Ziyuan. He thinks a heart is better than those presents. Han Ye thinks Luo Mingxi knows he only wants to marry Di Ziyuan.
But Luo Mingxi points out that Emperor Han arranges another marriage for Han Ye. Han Ye tells Luo Mingxi that he volunteered to kill the bandits. He wants to do something for him and Di Ziyuan. Han Ye asks Luo Mingxi for giving the presents to Di Ziyuan for him.
But Luo Mingxi rejects it. Ren Anle gets a message from someone. She learns that there’s a guest coming. Ji Li reports to Han Ye that the bandits moved to the sea. Han Ye tells Ji Li to go to kill the bandits. He tells him to give the umbrella to the mother and the daughter when it’s raining.
Ren Anle holds the red umbrella to walk by. She smiles at Han Ye. He remembers Di Ziyuan left with the red umbrella. He swears to kill the bandits to welcome her. Han Ye sees Di Ziyuan sleeping in the bed. He recognizes her and puts his clothes on her after she sneezed.
Ren Anle stops Han Ye. She thinks he wants to do something bad to her. He explains to her that he just worried that she would catch a cold. He tells her to respect herself. But she lifts his veil and takes a look at him. She finds out that he’s good looking.
Han Ye is shy. Ren Anle tells Han Ye to sit with her. He rejects it and tells her not to sleep at the place. But she thinks she did nothing wrong. He reminds her that she will encounter bad guys. She mentions the bad guy who put his clothes on her.
Ren Anle sees the spies of Dongqian. She takes Han Ye to flee. He thinks they shouldn’t have to run because the guys don’t chase them. She thinks he hasn’t experience. He asks her about her job. She tells him that she’s a person of Martial Arts World.
Han Ye promises not to let those guys hurt Ren Anle if they come. But she thinks they should avoid the snakes. She pushes him to the boat when those guys come. Han Ye tells Ren Anle to get up from him because he thinks those guys left.
But Ren Anle worries that those guys will come again. She lets the boat leave the dock. She continues to sleep on Han Ye. Ren Anle paddles. She thinks those guys cannot reach them. But Han Ye worries that it will be very dangerous that they go to the sea.
Han Ye worries that he cannot complete his task. He asks Ren Anle if she has been alone outside. She thinks she’s freedom when she’s alone. She mentions she encountered him. Han Ye wakes up. He thinks he will miss the chance if he doesn’t return to the city.
Ren Anle tries to help Han Ye row the boat. But the paddle falls into the sea. Han Ye hugs Ren Anle because he worried that she would fall into the sea. She stares at him and leans on him. She mentions what he told her not to move.
Ren Anle mentions she and Han Ye are on the boat. She thinks it’s their fate. He worries that they cannot return to the city because there’s no wind. But she thinks the heaven wishes them to get together. She thinks they shouldn’t avoid the fate.
Han Ye claims that he has a business. He thinks he shouldn’t stay at the sea. He asks Ren Anle what she wishes him to do. She takes off his clothes because she wants to use his pants to make the sail. She tries to take off her clothes since he doesn’t agree to it.
Han Ye stops Ren Anle. He tells her to respect herself. But she thinks it’s nothing that she gave up her clothes for him. He tells her that she doesn’t have to do so when she thinks she’s helping him. The ships of the sea bandits come.
Han Ye thinks he should leave the place. Ren Anle turns over the boat. She jumps into the sea with Han Ye. The bodyguard reports to the general that there’s a boat. Ren Anle and Han Ye hide under the boat. She praises him for stepping in the water.
Han Ye tells Ren Anle not to joke with him because the army of Dongqian is in front of them. She’s close to him. She thinks he will be bold if he gets along with her. The soldiers hit the boat. Han Ye tells Ren Anle to leave. But she rejects it because he doesn’t leave.
Ren Anle tells Han Ye that she will marry him if they’re saved. The scout spots the enemies before the soldiers turn over the boat. The soldiers find out that the enemies are the people of Anle Village. Ren Anle mentions what she told Han Ye that she will marry him if they’re saved.
Ren Anle flies to the ship of Anle Village in the rope’s help. She introduces herself as the chief of Anle Village to the sea bandits. She blames the sea bandits for attacking the land of Great Jing. She shoots the neck of the general.
Han Ye joins Ren Anle when she fights with the sea bandits. His arm is hurt for protecting her. She’s surprised that he cares for her. She throws her sword to the archer and kills him. She blames the dogs of Dongqian for touching her man.
Ren Anle brings the medicine to Han Ye. She tries to take off his clothes. He stops her. She tells her that she’s not going to do something bad to him. She reminds him that his shoulder will be broken if she doesn’t apply the medicine on his arm.
Han Ye thinks Ren Anle shouldn’t do so in front of those people. She drives the people away. She applies the medicine on Han Ye. She dresses his wound. The maid Yuan Qin reports to Ren Anle that Southeast Navy came. Ren Anle tells her followers to leave with her.
Episode 1 of The Legend of Anle Chinese Drama ends with Luo Mingxi walking into Han Ye’s room when Han Ye is painting Di Ziyuan. He mentions Emperor Han arranged many girls for him. Han Ye worries that he will forget Di Ziyuan.
