The clansmen talk about Zhu Yan has someone in her heart. But Zhu Yan offends the heaven if she doesn’t marry King. The whole Red Clan will involved. The maid tells Zhu Yan to give up. She gets on knees to her. She reminds her that she cannot return home if she leaves the tent.
The maid reminds Zhu Yan that Queen and King only have only daughter. She asks her if she’s going to give up her parents. Zhu Yan thinks she won’t see her parents all her life even if she stays there. She thinks it’s no different than death.
Zhu Yan claims that she won’t marry someone she doesn’t love. But the maid points out that the man Zhu Yan likes won’t marry her all his life. Zhu Yan stops the maid. She summons the sand demon to kill herself from the wedding. She rides her horse to flee. She turns around and thinks nobody is going to force her to get married.
Shi Ying shows up from the sky when Zhu Yan is washing her hand by the lake. The horse is startled by him. Zhu Yan summons fire balls to attack the man who holds the umbrella. He blocks her attack and shows his real looks to her. She runs to him and calls him master.

Shi Ying wonders why Zhu Yan didn’t beg Emperor. She thinks Emperor will be like her father. She believes that Crown Prince will be different because he’s a god. She thinks Crown Prince will understand her. She leaves. The empress of Kongsang Bai Yan runs into singer consort Qiu Shui.
The maid asks Bai Yan to avoid Qiu Shui because Qiu Shui is pregnant. Qiu Shui asks Bai Yan for her mercy. She thinks her pregnancy should be blamed. She mentions what the doctor told her that her baby is very weak. Bai Yan moves aside.
Qiu Shui is happy to leave. The maid thinks Qiu Shui forgot her identity. Bai Yan stops the maid. She thinks mermaids are like them who are the people of Yunhuang. She tells her not to be biased. Zhu Yan falls from the tree after she got attacked by the bee.
Zhu Yan gets caught the the servants because the maid mistook Zhu Yan as a killer. Zhu Yan tells the maid that she’s not a killer. But the maid asks Zhu Yan if she can take the duty when something bad happens to the prince. Qiu Shui thinks Zhu Yan is the daughter of Red Clan according to the clothes of her.
Qiu Shui asks Zhu Yan if her father didn’t wish her to have a prince. Zhu Yan tells Qiu Shui that her father knows nothing about it. She tells her to punish her. Qiu Shui slaps Zhu Yan. She takes over the snow rose from her. She thinks the flower is the evidence that Red Clan intends to hurt her.
Qiu Shui throws the flower to the ground. She steps on it. Zhu Yan cries to ask Qiu Shui why she wronged her father. She thinks she’s evil even if she’s so beautiful. Qiu Shui tries to slap Zhu Yan. But Shi Ying stops Qiu Shui.
Shi Ying walks to Qiu Shui. He wonders why she brought trouble there. She claims that she have a reason to do so. She thinks he wants to step in the palace’s business. Zhu Yan is surprised that Shi Ying is Crown Prince. Shi Ying mentions the rules of Kongsang that Crown Prince should educate all of the princes.
Shi Ying thinks he has duty to educate the younger brother in Qin Shui’s belly. He tells his younger brother to forgive Zhu Yan. He asks him if he understands what he said. Qiu Shui decides to forgive the girl since Shi Ying helped her.
Qiu Shui tries to leave. But Shi Ying stops her. He mentions the rules of Kongsang. He tells Qiu Shui to transcribe the rules. She thinks he gave her a hard time because she’s a mermaid. She’s furious to walk away. Shi Ying tells Zhu Yan that the prince is standing in front of her.
