The Worst of Evil

Note: From here on out there are specific plot spoilers for The Worst of Evil: Episodes 4-5.

Jung-Bae thinks it’s Jun-Mo’s first time to kill a person. He tells Jun-Mo to try it again. He thinks he intended to forgive the guy. The guy tries to flee. Jong-Ryul takes over the gun from Jun-Mo. He kills the guy. He thinks Jun-Mo needs experience.

Gi-Cheul returns to his office. The man reports to him that the there’s no record because the guy Seung-Ho dropped out from the school. Jung-Bae worries that Gi-Cheul’s ex-girlfriend Eui-Jeong used Seung-Ho to spy on them. But Gi-Cheul thinks Eui-Jeong met Seung-Ho because her father is a drug addict. But Jung-Bae doesn’t believe it.

Jun-Mo tries to leave. But Jong-Ryul stops him. He tells him that he cannot go out. Jun-Mo returns to his room. Jung-Bae shows up. He finds out that Jun-Mo drank. He asks him why he didn’t shoot Seung-Ho. Jun-Mo apologizes to Jung-Bae.

Jung-Bae comforts Jun-Mo that he did a good job. But he worries that he will call the police because he feels guilty. He mentions he’s the policewoman’s friend. He thinks he will cry in front of the policewoman. He reminds him that he has no choice when he wears the gold watch.

Jung-Bae thinks Jun-Mo isn’t one of them even if he’s the relative of Tae-Ho. Jun-Mo thinks Jung-Bae doesn’t trust him because he’s not from Gangnam. Jung-Bae laughs to leave. Jong-Ryul reveals he’s not from Gangnam as well. Chang-Sik thinks they need to stop the investigation when they arrest the culprits. He tells Do-Hyung to keep it quiet.

Do-Hyung mentions the evil people began to suspect Jun-Mo after Jun-Mo didn’t kill Seung-Ho. Chang-Sik thinks they need to let the evil people trust Jun-Mo again. He meets with Eui-Jeong. He asks her to help Jun-Mo. Because he knows Gi-Cheul still has feelings for her.

Eul-Jeong calls Gi-Cheul. She explains to him that she got his number from Seung-Ho. She tells him that she wants to drink with him. Jun-Mo drives Gi-Cheul to the parking lot. Gi-Cheul tells Jun-Mo to wait for him at the parking lot.

But Jun-Mo doesn’t listen to Gi-Cheul. He tails him. Do-Hyung shows up behind Jun-Mo. Jung-Mo finds out that Gi-Cheul is seeing Eui-Jeong. He goes to the parking lot with Do-Hyung. He wonders why Gi-Cheul is seeing his wife. Do-Hyung tells Jun-Mo that his wife wanted to help him.

Jun-Mo blames Do-Hyung for getting his wife involved. Do-Hyung points out that he asked the officer Eui-Jeong a favor instead of Jun-Mo’s wife. He tells Jun-Mo to rely on Eui-Jeong. Jun-Mo is furious to get off the car. The Worst of Evil returns to the scene where Eui-Jeong is seeing Gi-Cheul.

Eui-Jeong wonders how did Gi-Cheul know her mother was ill. He leaks that the cop told it to him. He thinks he was rude to her when he ran into her. She denies it and thinks he’s very handsome. She takes out their group photo. He takes over the group photo from her. He’s surprised that she still kept the photo.

Eui-Jeong explains to Gi-Cheul that she thought she would give the photo to him. He lets her take a look at the place. He asks her if she remembers it. It flashes back. Eui-Jeong gives the necklace to Gi-Cheul. She asks him to give a necklace to her as well. But he tells her that he’s going to give an expensive one to her. He wipes the rice off her mouth. He kisses her lips.

Gi-Cheul thinks he would get together with Eui-Jeong if it wasn’t because of his mother. He takes her to the parking lot. She sees Jun-Mo. Jun-Mo greets Eui-Jeong. She asks Gi-Cheul to take care of Jun-Mo. He opens the car door for her.

Gi-Cheul is sitting with Eui-Jeong in the car when Jun-Mo is driving. Gi-Cheul thinks Eui-Jeong had a hard time when she took care of her mother. He wants to visit her mother. But she rejects it because she thinks he’s very busy.

Gi-Cheul wonders if Eui-Jeong’s husband visited her mother. He mentions the caregiver mistook him as her mother’s son-in-law. She remembers Chang-Sik told her to tell Gi-Cheul that she got a divorce with her husband when he mentions her husband.

Eui-Jeong reveals she got a divorce with her husband. She adds that she didn’t tell it to her mother. Gi-Cheul returns to the company with Jun-Mo. He asks him if he knew Eui-Jeong got a divorce. Jun-Mo denies it. Gi-Cheul tells Jun-Mo not to let others know that he met Eui-Jeong. Because Eui-Jeong is a cop.

Mother-In-Law

Gi-Cheul tells Jun-Mo that he’s going to see Eui-Jeong often. He tells him not to patrol. Jun-Mo returns to his room. Eui-Jeong gets a call from her father. She cries. Someone sends a message to Gi-Cheul. Gi-Cheul walks into Jun-Mo’s room with a suit. He tells him to wear the suit. He reveals Eui-Jeong’s mother is dead.

Jun-Mo arrives at the funeral hall with Gi-Cheul. He tells him to go to comfort Eui-Jeong alone. Eui-Jeong is surprised to see Gi-Cheul. She cries when Jun-Mo asks her if she’s fine. Gi-Cheul pays his respect to Eui-Jeong’s mother. Eui-Jeong introduces Gi-Cheul to her father. She takes him to the cafeteria. But he sees many cops at the cafeteria.

Eui-Jeong walks Gi-Cheul out of the funeral hall. She thanks him for paying his respect to her mother. He thinks her mother will go to heaven. He hands over the handkerchief to her. She wonders how did he know her mother passed away. Because she didn’t tell it to him.

Gi-Cheul mentions what he told Eui-Jeong that he knows a cop. Chang-Sik and Do-Hyung watch Gi-Cheul. Eui-Jeong thanks Jun-Mo for his coming. She smiles at him. But the kid calls Jun-Mo uncle. Jun-Mo avoids it because he doesn’t know what to do.

Do-Hyung introduces himself as the kid’s uncle. He carries the kid away. Eui-Jeong takes Gi-Cheul outside. He tells her that he felt sad when he saw her alone. He thinks she shouldn’t be alone. He confesses to her that he hates her husband. He asks her if her husband came as well.

Do-Hyung shows up. Eui-Jeong introduces Do-Hyung as her husband to Gi-Cheul. Do-Hyung wonders why he didn’t see Gi-Cheul since he’s Eui-Jeong’s friend. He thinks Gi-Cheul is a close friend of his wife since he came to the funeral. Gi-Cheul mentions Eui-Jeong’s mother liked her son-in-law very much. He asks Do-Hyung when he visited her mother-in-law.

Gi-Cheul blames Do-Hyung for not coming to his mother-in-law before the poor madam passed away. He thinks he doesn’t have the right to mourn. But Do-Hyung tells Gi-Cheul that it’s not his business. He leaves. Gi-Cheul hugs Eui-Jeong. He tells her to call him when she needs his help. Jun-Mo sees it. He has an eye contact with Eui-Jeong before he leaves with Gi-Cheul.

Jun-Mo lets Gi-Cheul get in the car. He tells him that he’s going to go to the restroom. He returns to the funeral hall. But he’s stopped by Do-Hyung. Do-Hyung blames Jun-Mo for not reporting it to them. Jun-Mo tells Chang-Sik that he wants to pay his respect to him mother-in-law. He cries.

Chang-Sik asks Jun-Mo if he wants to give up. Do-Hyung apologizes to Jun-Mo. Jun-Mo has to stay there to pay his respect to his mother-in-law. It flashes back. Eui-Jeong’s mother provides the food to Jun-Mo. She asks him about his work. He tells her that he wants to work hard. She tells him not to worry about it even if Eui-Jeong’s father and her brothers don’t like him. She tells him that she and Eui-Jeong like him. It makes him laugh. She thinks they will be family when they smile together.

Episode 4 of The Worst of Evil actually gives Jun-Mo a hard time. His boss doesn’t trust him after he didn’t kill the traitor. He loses the trust of Gi-Cheul. He has to let his wife help him gain the trust. He cannot pay his mother-in-law after she passed away. Because he cannot let Gi-Cheul know his real identity.

The Traitor Kyung-Jin

Jun-Mo and Gi-Cheul fight with the the thugs. Jong-Ryul remembers the person asked him to tell him what Gi-Cheul does to him. Gi-Cheul takes out the gun from his car. Jun-Mo is hurt for protecting Gi-Cheul. Gi-Cheul shoots the thugs.

Jong-Ryul shows up. He fights with the thugs. Gi-Cheul helps Jun-Mo get in the car. He tells Jong-Ryul to drive the car away. Jun-Mo is sent to the hospital. The doctor operates on Jun-Mo. Gi-Cheul gets a call from someone. He tells him that he will take the duty.

Jung-Bae tells Gi-Cheul to call the Japanese. But Gi-Cheul asks Jung-Bae to leave the ward. Jung-Bae leaves the ward. Gi-Cheul asks Jong-Ryul to find out who betrayed him. He tells him that he only trusts him. Jong-Ryul visits the car repair shop. The owner shows the puncture of the tire to Jong-Ryul.

Jong-Ryul visits Hee-Sung in the hospital where Hee-Sung’s wife just gave birth. He tells him that Jun-Mo is fine. Hee-Sung swears to let those people pay the price. Jong-Ryul hands over the flowers to Hee-Sung. He meets Kyung-Jin and Byung-Woo. But the two tell him that they were in the office.

Jun-Mo wakes up. Gi-Cheul goes to call the nurse. Chang-Sik tells Eui-Jeong that Do-Hyung is talking with the doctors. But she thinks he’s irresponsible. She blames him for not helping Jun-Mo since he knew the fight was going to happen.

Chang-Sik claims that he didn’t expect it. Eui-Jeong yells at Chang-Sik. She asks him to let her help her husband. She’s furious to leave his office. Gi-Cheul mentions Jun-Mo saved him two times when Jun-Mo is eating. He tells him that he’s going to trust him.

Jun-Mo asks Gi-Cheul if he actually went fishing. He thinks he has the right to know the truth. Gi-Cheul promises to tell it to Jun-Mo later. Jong-Ryul walks into the ward. He reports to Gi-Cheul that he didn’t find anything. But he knows who was the traitor. Gi-Cheul tells Jong-Ryul to gather all of the boys. He asks him to tell everyone that he’s going to punish the traitor.

Jun-Mo is carried into the car. He asks Kyung-Jin about the boys who were shot. But Kyung-Jin tells Jun-Mo to worry about himself. Gi-Cheul asks Jung-Bae to give the car key to him. He gets in the car and he gets a call from Oyama. Oyama blames Gi-Cheul for not picking up his phone. He tells him that he can find him even if he flees with their money.

Oyama hands overs the phone to Kanemoto. Kanemoto asks Gi-Cheul what happened. Gi-Cheul explains to Kanemoto that Dong-Hyuk attacked them. Kanemoto notes that someone is watching him. He tells Gi-Cheul for taking the duty. Jun-Mo arrives at the place. Yong-Dae and the driver go to the restroom.

Do-Hyung gets in the car when Jun-Mo tries to call him. He apologizes to him when Jun-Mo told him that he almost got killed. Jun-Mo tells Do-Hyung to stop Gi-Cheul with him. He reveals Gi-Cheul is going to kill the traitor. Do-Hyung leaves. Yong-Dae returns to the car when Do-Hyung just leaves. He sees him.

Gi-Cheul walks into the office. He tells the boys that the one who doesn’t show up is the traitor. Yong-Dae finds out that Jong-Ryul, Kyung-Jin and Jong-Ryul aren’t in the office. Byung-Woo arrives. He feels sorry for his late. Jun-Mo asked Do-Hyung to protect Kyung-Jin because he thought he was the traitor.

Gi-Cheul calls Jong-Ryul. He tells him that the traitor is Kyung-Jin. Do-Hyung knocks at the door when Kyung-Jin is taking out his cash from the drawer. He breaks into his house. He finds out that he fled. Kyung-Jin is tied up after he got beaten.

Gi-Cheul asks Kyung-Jin why he betrayed him. He tells the boys that he’s going to show the bad ending of the traitor to them. He lets Jong-Ryul do something. Jong-Ryul walks to Kyung-Jin. He takes out a knife. Jun-Mo asks Gi-Cheul what he’s going to do. Gi-Cheul tells Jun-Mo that he intends to let Kyung-Jin pay the price because he hurt him.

Episode 5 of The Worst of Evil is about how does Gi-Cheul find the traitor Kyung-Jin. Jun-Mo doesn’t wish Gi-Cheul to catch Kyung-Jin. He asks Do-Hyung to save Kyung-Jin. But Do-Hyung doesn’t complete the task. Kyung-Jin gets caught in the end. What waits for him is the death.
