Ren Rusong points out that Bai Fengxi is just a normal person no matter how outstanding she is. He walks away. Bai Fengxi returns home. She’s surprised that Feng Lanxi wanted to confess his feelings to her. She sees Han Pu and notes that he’s not happy.
Han Pu leaks that Ren Rusong asked Bai Jiande to make Bai Fengxi break up with Feng Lanxi. Bai Fengxi tries to walk away. Bai Langhua stops Bai Fengxi because she worries that she will bring a trouble. Bai Fengxi comforts Bai Langhua that she will find a way.

Bai Fengxi runs into Zhong Li who tells her that Feng Lanxi asks her out. She learns that Feng Lanxi doesn’t know what happened. The follower hands over the Qingyun Wine to Ren Rusong. He tells him that the person told him that he will see her after he sees the wine.
Ren Rusong tells the follower to let the person in after he took a look at the wine. Bai Fengxi shows up and greets Ren Rusong. But he tells her to leave with the wine. She reminds him that she got the wine after she passed Tai Yin’s trial with Feng Lanxi.
But Ren Rusong points out that he has the duty to persuade Feng Lanxi for his future. Bai Fengxi asks Ren Rusong if Feng Lanxi can be the crown prince through marriage. He cannot give the answer to her. But he promises to think about it. She leaves the wine.
Feng Lanxi takes a look at the wood statue of Bai Fengxi. He smiles. Zhong Li reports to Feng Lanxi that Bai Fengxi didn’t give him an answer. He leaks that Bai Fengxi went to see Ren Rusong. Ren Rusong shows up. He gets on knees to Feng Lanxi. He asks him to punish him.
Ren Rusong reveals he told Bai Jiande to make Bai Fengxi break up with Feng Lanxi. Feng Lanxi gets angry. But he helps Ren Rusong get up. He asks him who told him to do that. He finds out that it was Huan Niang. He tells Ren Rusong to leave.
Feng Lanxi tells Huan Niang to leave his palace. She explains that she did it for his sake. He stops her and reminds her that what she did betrayed him. She asks him for his mercy. She reminds him that she has no place to stay except his palace.

Bai Fengxi sleeps in the bed. He tells Feng Lanxi to sleep on the floor. He stares at her when she falls asleep. He feels happy when she stays with him. There’s many crows flying in the sky. The bodyguards worry that they cannot reach Liang City.
