Pretty Li Hui Zhen: Episode 3 – He’s a Devil
Li Hui Zhen is scared while Bai Hao Yu enters office as associate editor, she hides under a desk when others are introducing themselves. Bai Hao Yu reveals headquarter is going to close down immortal magazine with 3 months. Editor is frightened.
Li Hui Zhen begs director to transfer her to back office, but director reveals the editor Vivian is CEO’s younger sister and he cannot against her.
Zhu Ying invites Li Hui Zhen to have a coffee and thinks she did a great job. She asks Li Hui Zhen whether or not she did similar job before. She tells Zhu Ying that she did it as her family opened printing shop.
Xiao Qiao’s stepmother has a talk with her. Stepmother reminds her that her father’s birthday is next week and blames her mother. Xiao Qiao gets angry hitting the desk and tells her it’s not her business.
Lin Yimu thinks Li Hui Zhen is nervous and encourages her defeating herself. Xiao Xue sends her to stock room getting 2 reflectors for filming.
Bai Hao Yu messages Xiao Qiao and cares about her. She is moved by his attention.
Li Hui Zhen runs into Bao Hao Yu in the stock room. They are trapped in the stock room as the door is broken. She is nervous. He calls Zhu Ying to fix the door problem and shares his music to her. She recalls their childhood.
They stood in the heavy rain. He could not move because he was afraid of rain. She held a umbrella and blocks rain for him.
After Zhu Ying opens the door, he knows her name is Li Hui Zhen and looks at her suspiciously. Then she takes balloon to stage but forgetting take off her shoes. He yells her for unprofessional. She feels sorry. Zhu Ying reveals she just a trainee. He claims he will fire her if she is regular employee.
Li Hui Zhen is asked to see editor. Editor is curious on her weird hair style and dirty clothes. Li Hui Zhen claims she will clean her clothes, but the hair is naturally-born curls.
Li Hui Zhen complaints to Xiao Qiao about what Bai Hao Yu did on her. She reveals it’s first time she joins the filming, she doesn’t know the rule. Xiao Qiao thinks he is not such cold-blooded. Li Hui Zhen reveals he has too sides, one is angel, another is devil.
In the office meeting, Bai Hao Yu lets everybody describe their ideas in three sentences one by one and places a sandglass on the table. He isn’t satisfied with colleague’s ideas. Meanwhile Li Hui Zhen laughs while they talks. He asks her idea. She trembles and says she doesn’t understand what they said. He drives her away from the meeting.
