This is first episode of Rule the World Drama, Bu Youran enters Buxi Yamala’s tomb to find the story for her next novel. She travels to Ming Dynasty and becomes Dong Ge who is most beautiful woman in Nvzhen tribe.
Rule the World Chinese Drama Recap: Episode 1
Bu Youran is typing, she gets a call from Xiao An that Director Huang is going to end her contract. Xiao An suggests her to lie that her next novel will hit 100,000 hits, but Bu Youran cannot do that as she doesn’t have any friendship with the director.
Director Huang tells Bu Youran via a tablet that he will end the contract with her if her next novel cannot achieve 200,000, although she claims she is first novelist who joined him and works hard.

Bu Youran and her friends go to Buxi Yamala’s tomb looking for a story, she recalls a man lifts a woman and says, “Dong Ge, you belong to me; The world also belongs to me.” while she looks at the woman’s portrait. She faints and is sent home in her friend’s help.
Buxi Yamala also named Dong Ge who is nuzhen tribe’s most beautiful beauty and gets marry 7 times. Director Huang is satisfied with the story and decides to give Bu Youran the last chance.
The time travels to Ming Dynasty. Dong Ge is going to ride. Zhe Ying and Dai Shan persuade her to ride their horses, but Dong Ge denies them and chooses to ride her horse. Zhe Ying tries to catch Dong Ge, making her unseat while she is riding. He even wants to kill Dong Ge’s horse as he thinks the horse hurts his beauty. Dong Ge gets angry and leaves with Dai Shan.
Nuer Hachi is going to share his city with Dong Ge, but she tells him that he killed her father so that she won’t marry him in her life. Nuer Hachi recalls she swore that she would marry a person who killed him when she was a child.
Dong Ge visits her aunt Meng Gu with flowers. Meng Gu is very happy, however she feels upset when Dong Ge mentions Nver Hachi’s name. Meanwhile Huang Taiji comes to see his mother, Dong Ge is stunned as he is handsome and taller than her. She lets him call her older sister. Meng Gu asks Dong Ge to take care of Huang Taiji as they are relatives.
Meng Gu is weak and begins to spit blood, she wants to go home. Huang Taiji decides to take his mother to Yehe so that he begs his father. But Nuer Hachi denies his request as Jianzhou and Yehe are in battle. Dai Shan brings a ginseng to see Meng Gu, Dong Ge mentions Meng Gu’s condition and reveals Huang Taiji went to palace begging his father. But, Dai Shan thinks he won’t succeed as Jianzhou and Yehe are in battle, and Dong Ge’s brother Bu Yanggu is going to unite other tribes to oppose Nuer Hachi. Dong Ge gets excited, Dai Shan calms her down and goes to see Nuer Hachi.
Nuer Hachi lets Huang Taiji learn riding and shooting with Dai Shan after Dai Shan reveals he worked hard these days. Dong Ge knows Nuer Hachi doesn’t agree their request, she decides to see him in person. However, she catches sight of Nver Hachi who is sleep with a woman in his bed.
