In the 5th episode of SKY Castle Korean Drama Recap, Seung-Hye breaks the study room for protecting her kids. But she gets the punishment from her husband. Seo-Jin blames Soo-Im for treating her kid as a thief, and reveals Ye-Bin just vented her stress.
SKY Castle Korean Drama Recap: Episode 5

Young-Jae locks up Seo-Jin and Joo-Young in the office, and takes a knife and is intention to kill Joo-Young. Seo-Jin persuades him that Joo-Young just maximizes his study results by using his feelings. Joo-Young adds that she did was do her best to get him into the school. He kicks off the trash can and thinks Joo-Young knew it was going to happen, but she did nothing. Joo-Young claims there isn’t any single teacher would sit back and do nothing if they have known. He thinks she felt guilty, so she didn’t answe his calls. She says that she didn’t answer her because her rule to cut ties with her students to the moment they get accepted. He throws the paper from the table, and emphasizes that his mom died. She says it’s because he left his mom. Seo-Jin cries that Myung-Joo loved him more than she ever loved herself. But he thinks his mom died just because he didn’t go to university. She points out that he weren’t going to see her again. He thinks it’s all because of Joo-Young, and attacks her.
But he hurts Seo-Jin, and flees when Teacher Jo breaks into. The doctor treats wound in the hospital. Joo-Young wears her coat to Seo-Jin, and she is glad the wound wasn’t any deeper. Seo-Jin asks about Young-Jae. Joo-Young says they lost him. So Seo-Jin suggests her to report him to the police. But Joo-Young thinks it’s her duty as his teacher to hope that he will overcome it. Seo-Jin thinks she misunderstood her. But Joo-Young says she is indebted to her. Seo-Jin takes her hand and asks her not to let her daughter go through it. Joo-Young comforts her that Ye-Seo and Young-Jae are different.

Soo-Im reads the article about chileren steal goods, the point is that parents should give their kids more loves. Chi-Young reveals that he also stole something once back when he was young. but her mother saved him. Soo-Im thinks the parent’s role is really important, and she should tell the moms. But he mentions she just disbanded the book club.
Jin-Hee asks the kids where they went in the car since they were late for 10 minutes. Soo-Han says they were late waiting for Soo-Im. Ye-Bin warns him not to lie to his mom.
Jin-Hee tells Seo-Jin that Soo-Im asked the kid for the interview but she didn’t show up. She wants to gives Soo-Im a lesson. But Seo-Jin tells her to leave Soo-Im to her. Just then the taxi passes through them, and drunk Yang-Woo yells inside. So Jin-Hee runs to chase the taxi.
Ye-Bin calls Soo-Im that Seo-Jin might visit her because Soo-Han lied. Soo-Im thinks she worries about her and asks Ye-Bin where she went. Ye-Bin lies that she met a friend. Seo-Jin hears what they talk and is jealous. She requires Ye-Bin to scan her thumb before the dinner. Ye-Bin complains that she cannot do anything in 30 minutes. So Seo-Jin offers to pack her dinner. Ye-Bin gives in to scan her thumb.
Seo-Jin meets with Soo-Im in the library, and asks her not to contact her kids. Soo-Im is intention to tell her that Ye-Bin stole, but Seo-Jin interrupts her and asks her to mind her business.
Teacher Jo informs Seung-Hye that they’re not going to train her kids, she realizes that Joo-Young chose Seo-Jin again when Joo-Young’s car passes through the house. Min-Hyuk takes the phone and blames Joo-Young. But she asks Teacher Jo to hang up. Min-Hyuk walks around the room and thinks he should teach his kids in person. He claims he will do it better than the coach.
Joo-Young takes a look at the soft crayons in the car. The man kidnaps nurse in the hospital, and asks for the doctor. Chi-Young arrests him and asks him what he can do for him. He finds out Joon-Sang treated the patient by mistake, and tells the patient that he will fix it.
The doctors talk about Chi-Young apologized to the star after the intern shaved her hair off. Yang-Woo thinks his colleague badmouthed Joon-Sang, so he hits him with a spoon. The colleague falls on the table, where Joon-Sang is eating.
Yang-Woo walks Joon-Sang in the hallway, and complains that Chi-Young asks the intern to take three days off. He thinks he needs a bodyguard since the man is looking for him with a knife. Joon-Sang claims he isn’t scared of the patient, but he flees to the room after seeing the patient was waiting for him in the lobby. We see a handgun under his clothes.
Seung-Hye takes coffees visiting Soo-Im who is doing her job at the garden. Soo-Im is shocked that Min-Hyuk locks his kids in the study room, and suggests Seung-Hye to start out with something she could to protect her kids. Because she is their mom.
Ye-Bin steals the snack again and walks outside. Soo-Im calls her and takes off Ye-Bin, and the snack drops. She asks Ye-Bin if she paid for it. Ye-Bin lies that she did. Soo-Im says that she saw her stealing, and take her inside. She tells the owner that the kid didn’t pay. But the owner says she did. Ye-Bin leaves the shop with temper.
Jin-Hee runs into Soo-Im outside and warns her not to touch their kids. She claims that she was a famous bully and hits Soo-Im’s chest with her head. But she is scared by the sound. Seo-Jin hears the sound as well when she tells the maid not to reveal her scar to her family.
Seung-Hye sits in the room and drinks tea. She remembers Soo-Im suggested her not to sit back when kids are being tormented. She gets a huge hammer from the worker, and hits the door of the study room, even if the hammer is heavy to her. The door is broken, the sunlight casts to her face. We see her tears.
The teacher announces that he is going to arrange the internet lecture for students. But Hye-Na thinks the internet lectures are too many, and asks the teacher about his monthly paycheck. The teacher calls her to the basketball court, and mentions she only paid half the tuition. Just then Woo-Joo steps in with other students, so the teacher has to leave. Woo-Joo and Hye-Na have an eye contact. Seo-Joon sees it. He gets a message from Seung-Hye who asks for dinner.
Seung-Hye tells the kids that she did something in the study, and thinks their father will understand it. But both kids suggest her not to go home. She asks the kids to tell their feelings to Min-Hyuk about the study room. They agree it.
Min-Hyuk returns home and finds the note Seung-Hye left on the table that she changed the study room. But he thinks the room doesn’t need to be changed, and finds the door disappears. He rushes into the room, and yells since most of the stuff in the study room disappear.
Hye-Na drops the bird toy outside, Woo-Joo picks it for her. Ye-Seo is jealous in the car. Teacher Jo reports to Joo-Young that Ye-Seo falls for Woo-Joo, but he likes Hye-Na. Joo-Young asks Teacher Jo to look into Hye-Na. Hye-Na is in the bus and remembers Woo-Joo got the toy for her. She smiles.
Seung-Hye and kids return home, Min-Hyuk is eating the crab. He thinks it perfectly seasoned, but cuts off her cards and asks her to fix the study room in three days. She is furious.
Chi-Young meets with President Choi and accepts the position of director. But the nurse gets the tea for them, and spreads the news to others. Yang-Woo treats the patient in his office and sees the message.
Seo-Jin drives her car to Soo-Im’s car, Soo-Im avoids it. Seo-Jin knocks the door and asks Soo-Im to get off. She blames her for treating her daughter as thief, and reveals Ye-Bin just vented her stress.
Seo-Jin gives money to the store owner, and asks him to delete the footage. She sees Soo-Im in the footage.
Jin-Hee waits Seo-Jin at her house, and gets in the car and tells her Chi-Young got the position of executive director. But Seo-Jin tells her to mind her business.
Seo-Jin meets with Madam Yoon and asks her to help Joon-Sang. But Madam Yoon thinks Seo-Jin is capable since she got rid of Joon-Sang’s first love and replaced her.
Hye-Na’s mom looks at the group photo of Joon-Sang and her. She hides it when Hye-Na steps in and gets her the red bean bread. Joon-Sang eats dinner with Seo-Jin, and blames her for asking his mom the favor. Hye-Na’s mom calls him and introduces herself as Eun-Hye.
