Cang Xuan thinks the book is more good looking than Xiao Yao. She reports to Xiling Xie that Cang Xuan bullied her. Cang Xuan tells Xiao Yao to call him older brother. But she rejects it because he’s not taller than her. She tells him that the one who will be older when he picks the flower on the tree first.
Cang Xuan thinks Xiao Yao is childish. It makes her believe that he worries that he’s going to lose. He climbs to the tree and tries to pick the flower. But she tells a lie to him that his father came. She catches the chance to get the flower.
Xiao Yao tells Cang Xuan that she won. She asks him to call her older sister. He gets angry. She gives the tail of nine-tailed fox to him. So he forgives her. But he returns the pendant to her because she likes the pendant very much.
Xiao Yao thinks Cang Xuan is the best. He runs to Xiling Xie and asks her when his parents are going to come back. She sees the black cloud. She passes out. Cang Xuan looks at the grave of his father Xiyan Zhongyi. Xiao Yao tells her mother Xiling Heng that she wishes to join Cang Xuan.
Xiao Yao walks to Cang Xuan. She asks him if his mother came. He shakes his head. The follower reminds Xiyan King that it’s time to seal the grave. Xiyan King orders to seal the grave. Cang Xue reminds Xiyan King that they should wait for his mother because it’s his father’s funeral.

Xiyan Yipeng tells Chang Pu that he respects his older brother because he sacrificed himself for the nation. He understands her sadness as well. He tells Xiyan King not to scold Chang Pu because she talked nonsense under the sadness.
Xiyan King thinks Chang Pu is delirious. He tells his followers to take Chang Pu away. But Chang Pu claims that she’s sober. She tells Xiyan King that Weak Water Clan belongs to West Flame since her father joined West Flame. But Xiyan Yipeng ignored the lives of the soldiers for his revenge.
Chang Pu thinks she cannot forgive Xiyan Yipeng as the chief of Weak Water Clan. She thinks she cannot return to Weak Water Clan if she forgives Xiyan Yipeng. She stabs Xiyan Yipeng. Xiyan King tells the bodyguards to send Chang Pu to the jail. He intends to punish Chang Pu according to the laws.
The madam asks Xiyan King to forgive Chang Pu. Cang Xuan pushes the bodyguards away. He thinks his mother did nothing wrong to stab Xiyan Yipeng. Chang Pu tells Cang Xuan that she wishes to see him grow up. But she cannot do that because she misses his father very much.
Chang Pu thinks Cang Xuan will understand it when he encounters the girl. She gives the flower to him. She tells him to give the flower to the girl when he encounters her. Cang Xuan tells his mother that he will protect her. She thinks he’s very silly when she tears up.
The madam reminds Xiyan King that they should end the funeral first. Chang Pu tells Cang Xuan to listen to his aunt. She tells him that she’s going to go to see his father. She pushes him to Xiling Heng. She stabs herself. Cang Xuan cries when he calls his mother.
Chang Pu asks Xiling Heng to take care of Cang Xuan for her. She gives up her knife and falls into her husband’s grave. The flowers bloom from the grave. Cang Xuan shakes off Xiling Heng. He runs to his parents’ grave. Xiao Yao brings the flower to Cang Xuan. She asks him to taste the flower.
Xiao Yao tells Cang Xuan that she knows he’s sad. But she thinks he should eat something. He cries to ask her why his mother gave up him. She explains to him that his mother went to accompany his father. She thinks his father would be lonely.
Cang Xuan cries to tell Xiao Yao that he’s lonely as well. She reminds him that he has her. She tells him to taste the petal because she thinks it’s very sweet. But he tells her that the petal is very bitter after he tasted it. She tastes the petal. She finds out that it’s very sweet.
Xiao Yao thinks Cang Xuan cannot taste the sweet because he feels painful in his heart. She tells him that he will feel better if he cries. She mentions what her mother told her that the mulberry honey can relieve melancholy. She tells him to drink the honey.
Cang Xuan drinks the honey. But he cries in Xiao Yao’s arms. She comforts him. Xiling Heng feeds Xiling Xie that medicine. Xiling Xie cries because she thinks she’s useless. She feels guilty for not protecting her son and her daughter-in-law.
Xiling Xie thinks she made Cang Xuan lose his parents. Xiling Heng promises to take care of Cang Xuan. She tells her master Xiling Xie that she will treat Cang Xuan as her child. Xiling Xie is surprised that Xiling Heng doesn’t return to Haoling.
Xiling Heng reveals she got a divorce with Haoling King. She tells Xiling Xie that she’s not Haoling Princess anymore. Xiling Xie coughs blood. Xiling Heng tries to go to invite a doctor. But Xiling Xie stops Xiling Heng. She tells her to go to take the two kids to see her.
Xiling Xie tells Cang Xuan to protect Morning Cloud Peak because he’s the only man of Morning Cloud Peak. He promises it. She reminds him and Xiao Yao that there will be a hard time in the future. Cang Xuan tells his grandma that he doesn’t fear it.
Xiao Yao promises to protect Cang Xuan. Xiling Xie tells the two kids to support each other no matter what the people do to them. She asks them to swear not to give up each other. They swear. Xiling Xie passes away. Cang Xuan thinks he can do nothing because he didn’t protect his mother and his grandma.
The kid kicks Cang Xuan and thinks he’s a stray boy. Xiao Yao stops the kid Yue Liang. She threatens him that she will let her father catch them. But he tells her that Haoling King has gotten a divorce with her mother. He adds that Haoling King won’t support her anymore.
Xiao Yao punches Yue Liang. He lets his followers beat Xiao Yao. But Xiao Yao defeats those kids. She sits on Yue Liang and asks him who is the wild kid. He confesses that he’s the wild kid. Xiao Yao tells Cang Xuan to call her when he gets bullied. She tells him to just watch it.
