Does Chang Heng Wish to Marry Goddess?

Orchid is happy to dance with the fairies. Creeper thinks Orchid will be sued for help fugitive hide if the guilty immortal gets found. She thinks Si Ming will protect Orchid if she’s there. Orchid points out that Si Ming will be the first one who won’t forgive her if she knows it.
Orchid tells the fairies that the air is fresh after the guilty immortal left. Dongfang Qingcang hears what she said. He claims that he won’t mind what she said. She sighs because she thinks Dongfang Qingcang is lonely when he was locked up in Haotian Tower.

Orchid worries that Dongfang Qingcang will be locked up for a long time if he comes back. The fairies thinks Dongfang Qingcang deserves it because he’s a guilty immortal. But Orchid thinks Dongfang Qingcang isn’t a bad person. She thinks he should tell it to her before he left.
Orchid asks the fairies to accompany her. But they reject it because they need to go to sleep. They disappear. Orchid complains that she’s alone again. Dongfang Qingcang brings the morning dew to her. She’s surprised that he didn’t leave.
Orchid asks Dongfang Qingcang if he went to gather morning dew. He admits it and tells her that the morning dew is good for her soul. He tells her that he will gather the morning dew for her from now on. He hands over the morning dew to her.
Orchid doesn’t want to drink the morning dew because it’s too cold. So he heats the morning dew. But she tells him that it’s too hot. He blows the morning dew and hands it over to her. She intends to add honey to the water. She goes to take honey.
Chang Heng goes to see Cloud Emperor. Cloud Emperor asks Chang Heng if he heard the whereabouts of Goddess. Chang Heng denies it. He thinks Goddess is dead. Cloud Emperor disagrees to what Chang Heng said. He thinks Evil God would break the seal if Goddess is dead.
Chang Heng thinks Evil God is just a tale. Cloud Emperor scolds Chang Heng for badmouthing Goddess. Chang Heng claims that he wishes to find Goddess. He adds that he wants to marry Goddess. Cloud Emperor shows the orchid handkerchief to Chang Heng. He tells him that he knows he wants to break off the engagement once he finds Goddess.
Chang Heng tells Cloud Emperor that he’s not related to the owner of the handkerchief. Cloud Emperor points out that Chang Heng forgot the mission of the marriage. Chang Heng promises to remember the engagement of him and Goddess. Cloud Emperor sighs. He returns the handkerchief to Chang Heng.
Does Dongfang Qingcang Take Eternal Flame for Orchid?
Chang Heng tries to take over the handkerchief. But Cloud Emperor grabs the handkerchief tightly. He tells Chang Heng to accept his fate. He walks away. Orchid hands over the soup to Dongfang Qingcang. She tells him that she added many herbs into the soup. She adds him if he wants to taste it. Dongfang Qingcang glares at Orchid. He forces her to drink up the soup. He tells Shang Que to watch Orchid. He disappears. Chang Heng stares at the handkerchief.
It flashes back. Orchid stays int he forest with Chang Heng. She tells him that she will protect him. She brags that she’s good at running. She intends to take him to run away when he’s in danger. But he tells her that he doesn’t need anyone’s protecting.
Chang Heng mentions his old brother taught him not to show his weakness to people. Orchid comforts him that she will be the first one who protects him. She worries that he will think that she’s weak. He shakes his head when he stares at her. She smiles.
Chang Heng puts the handkerchief into the box with the orchid. Qing Chuan reports to Chang Heng that Dan Yin asked him to give the pastries to him. Chang Heng mentions what he said that he doesn’t accept any fairy’s present. He asks Qing Chuan if he’s Dan Yin’s follower.
Chang Heng tells Qing Chuan to return the pastries to Dan Yin. He tells him to tell Dan Yin not to give any present to him. Orchid is going to go to bed. Dongfang Qingcang shows up. She wonders why he returned home so late. She tells him to go to take the dinner she left.
Dongfang Qingcang walks to Orchid. She’s startled. He thinks the room is cold. He takes out the eternal flame. She mentions the eternal flame comes from the lava of Blue Salt Sea. She wonders where he got it. He throws the flame to the stove.
Dongfang Qingcang takes the stove to walk to Orchid. She touches the flame and finds out that it’s so warm. He tells her that a warm room is good to her. She realizes that he went to the lava for her. She worries that he would lose his life.
Dongfang Qingcang tells Orchid that it’s a simple task to him. She mistakes that he loves her deeply when she stares at him. She mentions what she said that she has feelings for someone else. He tells her that she only belongs to him no matter who she likes. She tells herself not to be moved by his sweet talk.
Love Between Fairy and Devil: Episode 5 Ending
Episode 5 of Love Between Fairy and Devil ends with Orchid having a dream that her master feeds her the porridge. Dongfang Qingcang wipes off his tears. He thinks he needs to share the sadness with Orchid if the spell doesn’t get unlocked.
