In the 5-6 episodes of Meteor Garden 2018 Chinese Drama Recap, Shan Cai treats a stranger as Hua Zelei by mistake, and sleeps with him when she is drunk. Dao Mingsi is furious after knowing it, and thinks she cheated him. He kisses Shan Cai’s best friend Li Zhen later.

F4 see off Teng Tangjing at airport, but Hua Zelei doesn’t appear. Dao MingSi gives a werid toy to Teng Tangjing. Shan Cai asks he if he fell for someone, and thinks she should get all of the pressure for her lover. But he thinks she should speak out her love.
Teng Tangjing embraces Shan Cai before leaving, and tells her to be happiness. Hua Zelei shows up with good mood, Shang Cai blames him for didn’t chase his love. He announces that he is going to go to Paris, and leaves a kiss on her forehead. Dao Mingsi asks Shan Cai out, but she didn’t hear it because of the voice of plane.
Dao Mingsi wants to chase Shan Cai. Xi Men and Mei Zuo suggest him to give her roses with music, but Dao Ming Si claims she doesn’t like it, and comes up with another idea. The next day, he announces to challenge Shan Cai and Chen Qinhe with bridge. But she knows nothing about bridge, so Dao Mingsi decides to play big and small game. She fails, so he asks her for a meal. But she thinks he has an evil plan, and doesn’t want to attend.

The next day, it’s raining when she walks her mother to go to shopping. She remembers the appointment, and sees he is waiting for her in the rain. He hugs her, and grumbles her for being late. She decides to treat him a meal, but is locked up with him in the elevator. He passes out, and begins to get sick. She feels guilty, and takes his head on her thigh. She takes off her coat to cover him, and wishes he will feel warm.
But they argue because of his mother, and he reveals his mother accompanies him less and less because of business. He wants to kiss her, but she flees because of the elevator is fixed. Mother wants to hit Shan Cai because she didn’t return home all night, and worries her after knowing she was locked up in the elevator. She realzies that the maternal love is what Dao Mingsi seeks for.
Meteor Garden 2018 Chinese Drama Recap: Episode 6
The next day, Dao Mingsi hands over the coat to Shan Cai, but she hesitates to take. So he wears it for her. Xin Hui is jealous of Shan Cai, and decides to give her a lesson. She invites her to the party of Lady’s night, and adds medicine in her drink. Shan Cai feels hot after drinking it, and goes to restroom. She runs into a boy who is similar to Hua Zelei, and confesses her love. The next day, she wakes up from a strange room, and sees the man Tomas note. She remembers she danced with Tomas last night, and Xin Hui took the photos.

Tomas meets up her at restaurant, and says he didn’t touch her last night. He wants her to be his girlfriend since she confessed to him. Just then Dao Mingsi shows up, Tomas claims he just asks Shan Cai for directions. Dao Mingsi announces that she is his girlfriend, but Shan Cai denies.
Tomas and Shan Cai’s rumor is spreaded at the campus because of Xin Hui’s hardworking. Shan Cai urges to find him, but he disappears. Dao Mingsi is frustrated, and keeps swimming because of Shan Cai’s rejecting. Xi Men and Mei Zuo push him into the pool to prevent Dao Mingsi from seeing the rumor. They ask Shan Cai what happened, she says that she was drunk, and doesn’t know where the photos comes from.

Xi Men and Mei Zuo investigate the photos, and find out Tomas doesn’t live in Shanghai. Just then Dao Mingsi breaks into, and sees the photos. He goes to look for Shan Cai with temper. He scolds her why she lied to him, she explains to him that she is innocent, and hopes he can trust her. But Dao Mingsi isn’t intention to believe her.
He stands in the rain, and remembers the raining day with Shan Cai. Just then Li Zhen shows up with an umbrella. He treats her as Shan Cai, and kisses her.
