Bu Youran’s waist is hurt when she practices blade art. She tells the maid to go to take water. Bu Youran turns around and tells Prince Zheng to show up. He tells her that she has to be the concubine of emperor if she gives up the position of empress.
But Bu Youran tells Prince Zheng that she doesn’t care for it. She adds that she wants to accompany Huang Taiji when he has a battle. She tells him that he wants to live for a true herself. She asks him to accompany her to practice blade art. He agrees to it.
Bu Youran looks for Prince Zheng in the woods. But she gets attacked by Duo Ergun. Duo Ergun thinks he’s better than Prince Zheng to teach her the blade art. But she worries that he will have feelings for her. So she gets beaten. Huang Taiji treats Dong Ge’s leg. He asks her why she kept getting hurt.
Bu Youran explains that she just rode horse too fast. She smiles when she looks at him. She swears not to forgive Duo Ergun. Huang Taiji smiles. Bu Youran realizes that he knew it early. She blames him for not saying anything. She gets angry and thinks she was very silly.
Huang Taiji explains that he didn’t intend to conceal it. Bu Youran forgives him and asks him to let her accompany him to fight a battle. He agrees to it but he asks her not to see Duo Ergun. He tells her that he’s just a jealous husband. She promises it when she hugs him.
Bu Youran prepares the meal for Huang Taiji. The maid thinks Huang Taiji will be happy after he sees the dishes. But she points out that Huang Taiji went to Empress’s palace. Bu Youran is upset to walk in the snow. She trips. Duo Ergun catches her from her back.
Bu Youran is surprised to see Duo Ergun. He asks her why she’s there because he knows it’s Huang Taiji’s birthday. She remembers Huang Taiji asked her not to see Duo Ergun. She tells Duo Ergun that she’s going to go home. But he invites her to get into his house. He tells her that she’s like his mother. He reveals it’s his birthday as well.
Duo Ergun complains that nobody remembered his birthday. Bu Youran cooks for Duo Ergun. She tells him that the taste of the soup will be delicious once she adds the red dates into it. But she tells him that the tip was taught by Huang Taiji.
Huang Taiji arrives. He takes Bu Youran away. He tells her that she only belongs to him. He adds that he belongs to her as well. He kisses her. Bu Youran feels tired after the ceremony. She thinks Huang Taiji won’t come. So she decides to rest.
But An Dali visits Bu Youran and tells her that Huang Taiji wants to see her. He takes her to the palace. He leaves. She walks on the path which is covered with flowers and candles. She’s moved and she smiles when she sees Huang Taiji.
Bu Youran walks to Huang Taiji and lets him hold her hands. He takes her to get into the room. She sees the meal he prepared for her. She asks him what he wants to do. He tells her that he wants to give the honor she should get even if she doesn’t want to get it.
Huang Taiji tells Bu Youran that he made the wish when she protected him. He feels sorry for owing her too much. But she grabs his hand and tells him that he doesn’t owe her anything. She adds that he did enough for her. He tells her that he wants to drink the wedding wine with her since she doesn’t want to take the position of empress.
Bu Youran reads the imperial decree and finds out that Huang Taiji gave the name “Blue Sea Bead”. She thinks the name is very beautiful. He blames her for only seeing the name. She thinks she’s lack of a seal. She mentions Zhe Zhe’s seal was very beautiful.
Huang Taiji points out that Bu Youran didn’t want it. She claims that she wants to get it. He takes out the seal from the box and gives it to her. It makes her laugh. He tells her that he can give her anything. He adds that he wishes her to live with him all their lives. She smiles and kisses with him.
Bu Youran completes the play. She tears up. She drinks with her friends in the party. They wish Rule the World Chinese drama to be popular. Bu Youran cannot drink anymore. She walks away. Director Huang congratulates her. She tells him that she’s going to write a novel that the hero is a demon who bullies his employees.
Director Huang asks Bu Youran if she thinks through the ending. She takes a look at him. They laugh after they had an eye contact.
