These are the Recap & Ending for South Wind Knows: Episodes 6, 7 & 8. Fu Lingtian refuses to call Fu Yunshen because it’s his birthday. He thinks his grandson has forgotten his birthday. Jiang Shuning explains to Fu Lingtian that there’s no signal at Fu Yunshen’s place.
What Happens In South Wind Knows Episodes 6?

Jiang Shuning mentions Fu Yunshen intended to buy Fu Lingtian a present. Zhi Zhi shows up when she brings the present to Fu Lingtian. The people wish Fu Lingtian a happy birthday. Fu Yunshen calls Jiang Shuning. She mistakes that her son called her for his grandpa’s birthday.
But Shen Le tells Jiang Shuning that Fu Yunshen is missing. She’s sent to the hospital. She tries to call Chen Le. But he doesn’t pick up her phone. Fu Lingtian walks into Jiang Shuning’s ward. He asks her if she feels better. She tells him that she worries about her son. She wants to go to Country M.
Fu Lingtian comforts Jiang Shuning that he’s going to go to Country M. But she thinks he shouldn’t go to Country M because he’s aged. Fu Xizhou volunteers to go to Country M. Fu Lingtian agrees to it. But he tells Fu Xizhou to be careful.
Jiang Shuning tells Fu Lingtian that she wants to go to Country M with Fu Xizhou after Fu Xizhou left. Fu Lingtian reminds Jiang Shuning that Fu Xizhou is Fu Yunshen’s real brother. Fu Xizhou arrives at the airport. But he’s caught by Gu Ruanruan.
Fu Xizhou is surprised to see Gu Ruanruan. She explains to him that she and Zhi Zhi worried about Fu Yunshen after Fu Yunshen had an accident. She adds that she had to replace Zhi Zhi because Zhi Zhi had a business in the hospital. Fu Xizhou tells Gu Ruanruan to go home. Because he thinks the case isn’t kidding.
Why Gu Ruanruan Cannot Like Zhu Jiu?
Fu Xizhou tells Fu Yunshen that Fu Lingtian and the shareholders are waiting for their good news. Gu Ruanruan takes a photo of the sick kid. Zhu Jiu brings the water to Gu Ruanruan. She mentions she was startled. She comforts her that the skin illness is ordinary.
But Gu Ruanruan points out that the kid is so little. Zhu Jiu comforts Gu Ruanruan that the illness won’t affect the kid’s life if he takes the medicine. Gu Ruanruan thinks the kid was so lucky to encounter Zhu Jiu. Zhu Jiu agrees to what Gu Ruanruan said. She thinks the kid would pass away if she didn’t help him.
Gu Ruanruan feels guilty for not helping the kid. She mentions she kept taking photos. Zhu Jiu reminds Gu Ruanruan that people will care for the children if she shares the photos with others after she return to China. She tells her to go to take some living photos.
Gu Ruanruan thinks it’s a good idea. She believes that she will gather some money for the children if she holds a photography exhibition. Zhu Jiu tells Gu Ruanruan that a photographer can move many people. She thinks what she does makes sense.
Gu Ruanruan shows the photos she took to Zhu Jiu. Zhu Jiu thinks Gu Ruanruan is talented. But Gu Ruanruan tells Zhu Jiu that she cannot like her. Because she’s Zhou Zhizhi’s best friend. She leaves the house. Uncle Hans brings a good news to Zhu Jiu that the medicine worked to the illness.
Zhu Jiu is very happy. But Uncle Hans thinks the herb Zhu Jiu found is too little. She comforts him that Fu Yunshen will treat the kids at first. She goes to look for Fu Yunshen. She lets him enjoy the fire with her. She tells the good news to him that the kids can be saved.
Does Danmi Pass Away?
Uncle Hans apologizes to Zhu Jiu for not being nice to her yesterday. He knows she was late to say goodbye to the people. She thinks he doesn’t have to comfort her. She agrees to what he said that she should be more tougher as a doctor.
Uncle Hans tells Zhu Jiu that they believe her. He leaves. Zhu Jiu holds the train toy. She tears up. Fu Yunshen joins her. She asks him if Danmi left. He agrees to what she said. He reveals he just saw Danmi’s family off. She thinks Danmi’s family would be sad.
Fu Yunshen mentions what Danmi’s grandpa said that death is a free to Danmi. He adds that Danmi’s grandpa donated Danmi’s body for other kids. Zhu Jiu thinks she’s useless. Fu Yunshen comforts Zhu Jiu that doctors aren’t all-powerful.
Fu Yunshen reminds Zhu Jiu that their enemy is Grim Reaper. He thinks doctors just fight with Grim Reaper for time. She understands what he said. But she thinks the feelings are like abyss which makes her feel hopeless. He mentions ordinary people feel hopeless more than her.
Fu Yunshen tells Zhu Jiu that he doesn’t know how to comfort her. She tells him that he doesn’t have to do so. She thinks she will recover soon. He wipes off her tears and he tells her that he wanted to save those kids. He tells her that he wishes to do something for the place.
Zhu Jiu tells Fu Yunshen that she doesn’t know how to thank him for what he did. He tells her to go to take a bath so that she won’t be sick. He tells her that he needs her to guide him how to deal with the illness. She laughs and wonders when the rain is going to stop. Fu Yunshen tells Zhu Jiu that the rain is going to stop tomorrow.

Episode 8 of South Wind Knows ends with Fu Yunshen leaving a present to Zhu Jiu. She runs to him when he’s going to take the helicopter. She puts the grass bracelet on his hand. She hugs him. He smiles. He pinches her face and he walks to the helicopter.
