This is the Review for Twinkling Watermelon: Episode 2. Eun-Gyeol tears up after knowing Grandpa Viva gave his guitar to him. He leaves Se-Kyung’s house with the guitar. He strokes the guitar when he sits on the bench. Grandpa Viva asks Eun-Gyeol if he likes the guitar.
Does Eun-Gyeol Sell His Guitar?
Eun-Gyeol mentions what Grandma Viva told him that he would only give the guitar to him after he checked his homework. Grandma Viva reveals he intended to give the guitar to him. Eun-Gyeol tells Grandma Viva that he thinks the homework he gave him was very hard.
He reveals he wanted to give up his music dream. But he made him wish to change his mind. He doesn’t know what to do. Grandma Viva tells Eun-Gyeol to let the coin decide his fate. He tells him that the stage is the coin. He disappears.
Eun-Gyeol returns to the club when the band members are having a fight. He takes out his guitar. Jong-Hyeong smiles. They begin to practice. Yi-Chan lies in his bed at home. He remembers Se-Kyung told him that his fly is open.
He feels embarrassed. He hears the singing of Bal-San. He walks into his room and he asks him about the song he’s singing. Bal-San tells the name of the song to Yi-Chan. He tells him to be in love. Yi-Chan cries because he thinks he owns nothing.
Bal-San tells Yi-Chan to join a band because girls like the guy who’s in a band. Sang-A asks Se-Kyung if she likes a band. Se-Kyung denies it. Sang-A wonders why Se-Kyung went to a band concert. Se-Kyung reveals she did it for Ji-Hwan.
Sang-A wishes to join Se-Kyung. She tells her that she likes bands. But Se-Kyung points out that Sang-A likes handsome guys. Chung-A carries the dirty water to walk in the hallway. But the girl trips her. It makes her pour the water to Se-Kyung.
Sang-A scolds Chung-A. But Se-Kyung stops her. She reaches out her hand to Chung-A. She asks her if she’s fine. She picks up the brushes and returns the bucket to her. She tells her that she’s fine. Sang-A persuades Chung-A to apologize to Se-Kyung.
But Chung-A pokes Sang-A’s forehead. She walks away. Se-Kyung dries her hair in the restroom. Chung-A shows up. She hands over her T-shirt to Se-Kyung. Se-Kyung promises to wash the T-shirt. Chung-A ignores Se-Kyung. She walks away.
Se-Kyung wears the T-shirt to show up on the campus. She’s surrounded by the boys. Yi-Chan takes a look at the T-shirt Se-Kyung wears. He mistakes that she likes bands. He shows the T-shirt he wears to her. He tells her that he’s in a band.
Eun-Gyeol’s father has breakfast with Eun-Gyeol. He asks him to go to see the car owner with him because he plans to ask the car owner for the footage. But Eun-Ho tells his father that Eun-Gyeol has an important meeting. Eun-Gyeol is surprised that his brother knew what he’s going to do.
Eun-Ho shows his post to Eun-Gyeol. He claims that he’s famous. Eun-Gyeol asks Eun-Ho to come to the concert with his girlfriend. But Eun-Ho rejects it because he cannot hear anything. Eun-Gyeol goes to the club. He finds out that Jong-Hyeong is sick.
Ji-O tells Eun-Gyeol to go to buy Jong-Hyeong some medicine. Eun-Gyeol walks out of the pharmacy after he bought the medicine. Byung-Ho’s mother sees him. She tails him to the club. She sees him taking the cigarette. She gets a call from someone who tells her that he has found the footage.
She arrives at the police station. She sees Eun-Gyeol’s father talking with the cop. The cop thinks she knows her son’s whereabouts. Byung-Ho’s mother walks Eun-Gyeol’s father out of the police station. She thinks he’s happy that he ruined her son’s life.
But he thinks he did something good for her son. She yells at him and tells him to worry about his son. She reveals his son went to a club. Ma-Joo arrives at the club. Jong-Hyeong persuades Eun-Gyeol to sing in the club. Eun-Gyeol’s father see his son singing in the club. He’s shocked.
He thinks he told a lie to him after the fans left. Eun-Gyeol reveals he intended to tell his father the truth that he likes music. His father tries to take him away. But Eun-Gyeol rejects it. He tells his father that he’s not his speaker.
He thinks his father cannot understand him because he cannot hear the music. He leaves the club. He walks on the street. He remembers what his father did for him. He runs to the tree and he tries to break the guitar. But he sees the guitar store.
He walks into the guitar store. The store owner Master wonders how did Eun-Gyeol found his store. He thinks he came to his store for selling his guitar. Eun-Gyeol hands over his guitar to Master. Master pays Eun-Gyeol some cash after he got the guitar. He thinks he will come back.
Twinkling Watermelon: Episode 2 Review
Episode 2 of Twinkling Watermelon breaks my heart when Eun-Gyeol tells his father that he doesn’t want to be his speaker. He doesn’t intend to do that. He just says so because of his anger. I don’t under stand why his father doesn’t wish him to do music. It’s not a bad idea that his son has a hobby. There would be a story in Eun-Gyeol’s father’s past.
