In the 3-4 episodes of Wok of Love Korean Drama, Poong leaves Giant Hotel because he insert a knife into Seung Ryong’s door while he is kissing Dal Hee. Poong asks Chil Seong to open a restaurant for him to take his revenge.
Wok of Love Korean Drama Recap: Episode 3
Sae Woo says that she trust in a dog than a man when Chil Seong and Poong want to stop her from getting marry, and asks everybody to attend her wedding without congratulatory money, claiming that she will kill them, if they don’t attend. Yi Man notices Poong runs away when Maeng Dal asks Chil Seong if he will attend the wedding. They ask him to return, and eat the jajangmyeon he ordered. He claims that he comes from Giant Hotel, and tells them that he will make jajangmyeon to them if they take chunjang to visit him.
Assistant asks Seung Ryong to sign the paper when he is boxing. Seung Ryong claims he is lazy, signing it with his foot, and thinks his toes get stronger than last month after signing so many papers. He asks assistant to take care of Poong then.
Poong wipes off the chunjang on his face while walking, and avoids people who pass by. Doctor Seok follows him, and steps into kitchen. He thinks she hasn’t eat, and make wonton noodles for her. But she says that it’s will be easy since they needn’t to fill the divorce papers, and reveals that she packed her stuff and left, thinking guests will talk about them, but it won’t last too long. He asks her who is the man, but she thinks it won’t change anything. He says that he won’t give up, since her father made jajangmyeon to support him, and left her in his hand when passing away. But she says that she is embarrassed because of her father’s job, and tells him that she is embarrassed when her child has a father like them. He asks her not to talk that nasty. She adds that she is sick of smelling of chunjang and asks to end. He wipes off his tears, and promises that he won’t make jajangmyeon here. But she feels sorry for getting marry with him, and leaves.
Chil Seong tells Sae Woo that he wants to give her a ride when she is walking. She rejects, and claims that she can go on her way. But he reveals he is on the way to her place. She is shocked, and thinks he is a stalker, asking him why he knows her address. He reveals he knows her address through the invitation she gave him, and thinks it’s dangerous to take taxi in the evening. But she thinks a gangster like him is more dangerous. He laughs, and says that it’s not as dangerous as getting married, and getting off his car. He says that he isn’t the type who hits on married women, and takes off his sunglasses, thinking she won’t be able to have him if she gets married tomorrow, and gets in his car. But he returns, and thinks he doesn’t have to apologize for falling head over heels for her, before she gets married, because he is single is paper. She is speechless, and asks him to leave.
Seung Ryong asks Dal Hee if she hates coming to his hotel because of Poong when she steps into his house. She reveals she ended things with him, and thinks she deserve to get hit by lightning and die. But he says that he want to enjoy their future. There is a boom outside when they’re kissing. He finds a knife on the door.
The older woman asks Chil Seong who gave him the permission to close the shop when passing by, and is against it. Dong Sik thinks they did it because of her, and reveals he saw her eating jajangmyeon at another Chinese restaurant, and paid with their money. She yells at them, and says their jajangmyeon tasted terrible, asking to open the door, after Chil Seong and Dong Sik closed the door.
Rae Yeon tells Poong that there is a personnel appointment when they run into at hall, and thinks he is the reason the hotel became six star hotel. Poong is happly, and stands in front of Master Wang when they’re in elevator. But each employees are promoted, except him.
One of the followers steals gold from waitress after she took it off from Seung Ryong. The follower claims he is innocent. Just then Sae Woo steps into the clothes shop and take her fiance’s suit. But Seung Ryong asks another follower to block her, and hold her arm. Chil Seong asks him to get lost, Sae Woo recognizes him, even if he wears sunglasses.
Wok of Love Korean Drama Recap: Episode 4
Chil Seong tells Seung Ryong that he will find the proof from his followers in 3 minutes, Seung Ryong asks his followers to take care of him. He takes off the follower’s pans who stole the gold, and finds the gold while fighting with them. Seung Ryong makes apologize, and takes his gold away.
Seung Ryong asks people out, except Poong, after knowing he wants to talk to him in the kitchen. Poong lost his temper, and hits Seung Ryong. But he avoids his fist, and laughs. Poong asks him, “how can you call yourself a human?” Seung Ryong says, “Does that mean Dal Hee loves a beast if he isn’t a human?” He beats Poong up, and says that he doesn’t want to fight someone in his hotel, thinking it was him last night. Poong reveals he doesn’t intend to end with her, and says it’s a warning. But Seung Ryong tells him that he should learn when to end. He beats up Poong again when Poong thinks he worked 10 hours a day without any rest, but Seung Ryong only exercise in the hotel.

Sae Woo and her father wait groom’s coming, but he doesn’t come, and her father is arrested. Father tells Sae Woo that he is innocent, and asks her to take care of her mother. Meanwhile, she is told that she has terminal cancer. Poong takes his wok, and leaves hotel, tells his dead father that he shouldn’t be in relationship with Dal Hee when standing at bridge.
Seung Ryong asks his followers why the knife is still on his door since it has been over one week, when passing by. Master Wang claims he will pulls off for him, and asks them out. Doctor tells Sae Woo that she got a lymphoma, and asks her if she wants to have surgery, thinking she doesn’t have much too live. Yi Man tells Chil Seong that there is a punk wants to get the loan, Chil Seong scolds him, and thinks he shouldn’t call their customer punk. But Yi Man insists on thinking he is a punk. Poong asks Chil Seong to lend him $50,000 to open a Chinese restaurant, and claims that he can steal all of customers from Giant Hotel. But he shows his wok to him, when Maeong Dal asks him what’s his security.
Master Wang tells Seung Ryong that Poong must have a strong resentment since he cannot pull out the knife, even if he tried his best. Chil Seong tells Poong that he can lend money to him, but he asks him to teach his boys how to cook. Meanwhile Sae Woo takes her hose pass by, Maeng Dal thinks she and her are hungry, and asks her to enter their restaurant to get water. But she claims she wants to starve to death.
Poong returns Giant Hotel, and asks his colleagues to leave with him, but they reject. He says that I thought there will be a chance, but he is wrong. Poong takes bamboo away, and claims it belongs to his father-in-law. He runs into Sae Woo and her horse at the bridge, when she is going to jump. He takes out cookie, and asks her to eat it before committing suicide.
