Rong Xia tells Ban Hua not to offend Second Prince because he worries that she will get hurt. But she ignores what he said. Second Prince is furious and swears to take revenge after he goes out. His mom Empress hears what he said, and thinks he is a bad son. The follower tells Second Prince to unite with Xie family.
The follower visits Mr. Xie and tells him that Second Prince wants to marry Xie Wanru. Mr. Xie feels happy and gives a present to the follower. Xie Wanru is cooking the foods. Mr. Xie shows up and scolds her for doing that. She gets angry and complains to Xie Qilin that Ban Hua can do anything she wants.
Xie Qilin tells his sister that she can bully Ban Hua when she becomes the princess. Xie Banru wants to buy the dishes. But the shop owner tells her that the dishes were ordered by someone else. So she tells him that she will pay more than the person. Ban Heng shows up. Xie Wanru learns the person is Ban Heng. She is furious to go out.
The shop owner stops Xie Wanru and tells her that Ban Heng wants to give the dishes to her. She is surprised and thinks he’s a nice guy. Ban Huai wants to buy the painting. But the shop owner tells him that the painting was ordered by someone else. Rong Xia shows up and gives the painting to Ban Huai. Ban Huai feels happy and takes Rong Xia to drink.
The servant tells Elder Princess that Emperor sent the doctor to see her. She realizes that Emperor won’t give up until he makes sure she’s fine. So she lets the doctor see her. Ban Hua arrives and tells Elder Princess that she wants to live with her. Elder Princess accepts it.
Ban Hua returns home and runs into the drunk Ban Huai and Rong Xia. The two hug each other, and ask Ban Hua if she wants to join them. She gets angry and tells Rong Xia that she wants to beat him. Du Jiu sneaks into Elder Princess’s house and finds the medicine. He thinks Elder Princess is going to die, and reports it to Rong Xia. But Rong Xia cannot make the decision because he’s drunk.
Ban Hua wants to use Dragon and Well Cake in Elder Princess’s birthday party. But Rong Xia is against it because he thinks it’s expensive. She is furious to leave. The guy tells Rong Xia that Elder Princess fell for King because of the cake. He thinks Ban Hua wants to do something for Elder Princess. Elder Princess asks Rong Xia why he’s close to Ban Hua. He asks her to tell him the truth of his parent’s death.
