What Is Dong-Eun’s Dream?

Dong-Eun posts Yeon-Jin’s photos on the wall. She tells her that she hates summer. Yeon-Jin shows up. She asks Dong-Eun who she is. Dong-Eun thinks Yeon-Jin doesn’t know how to respect people. She beats her with the stapler. She blames her for not recognizing her. Yeon-Jin laughs because she thinks Dong-Eun cannot kill her. Dong-Eun tells Yeon-Jin that she will try her best to kill her. She tells her to wait for her.
It flashes back. Yeong-Jun summons Yeon-Jin to his office. He asks her why she bullied her classmate. He tells her that her mother has told him about it to him. It makes her interested in him and her mother’s relationship. He tells her that he and her mother are friends.
Yeon-Jin thinks Yeong-Jun has feelings for her mother. She believes that he slept with her mother. She leaves his office. Jong-Moon arrives at the police station to pick Dong-Eun up. He blames her for calling police. Yeon-Jin’s mother throws the rice to Yeon-Jin. She tells her that she’s disappointed in her.
Yeon-Jin’s mother mentions what she said to Yeon-Jin that she can only hang out with Jae-Jun. The guy brings Dong-Eun to Yeon-Jin. Yeon-Jin apologizes to Dong-Eun for bullying when she holds her face. She tells her that she wants to test if her iron is hot enough.
Yeon-Jin uses the iron to hurt Dong-Eun. Dong-Eun cries to ask for help. Hye-Jeong tells Dong-Eun that nobody is going to come when he shows the keys to her. Dong-Eun wonders why Yeon-Jin does it to her. Yeon-Jin tells Dong-Eun that nobody is going to help her because she’s a loser. Dong-Eun asks School Nurse for the hydrogen peroxide. School Nurse takes a look at Dong-Eun’s arm. She sees the wound on her arm. She asks her who did it to her. Yeon-Jin admits that the one who hurt Dong-Eun was her.
Dong-Eun goes to see Ye-Sol. Ye-Sol notes that Dong-Eun wears same shoes like her mother. Dong-Eun tells Ye-Sol that she knows she’s Yeon-Jin’s daughter. She tells her that she hates her mother very much.
Dong-Eun returns home. She’s scared when she sees Myeong-O. He finds her piggy bank. He tries to ruin her piggy bank. She asks him to return the piggy bank to her because they’re rich. Yeon-Jin promises to return the piggy bank to Dong-Eun. But she asks her to dance for her.
Dong-Eun goes to the infirmary. But she finds out that the place is closed. She tries to jump off the rooftop. But she doesn’t have the guts. She has to sit on the snow to cry. The snow drops on her wound on her legs. She uses the snow to massage her body.
Hye-Jeong gets a call from someone. She’s told that Dong-Eun dropped out and she listed them as the reason for her transfer. It makes Myeong-O laugh. Dong-Eun gets a call from Jong-Moon who asks her to come back and correct the reason.
The teacher reminds Jong-Moon that it will affect her performance review if Principal sees the list. Jong-Moon yells at Dong-Eun. He asks her why she made the list. She mentions he did nothing when the students bullied her. She shows her wound to him.
Jong-Moon tries to slap Dong-Eun. He thinks it’s not a bullying because her legs are fine. He believes that it’s just a fight of friends. So she asks him if he will bear it if his son is beaten by his friend. He takes off his watch and slaps her.
Yeon-Jin’s mother meets with Dong-Eun’s mother Mi-Hee. She gives the cash to her and asks her to sign the contract. Mi-Hee signs the contract for the money. Dong-Eun goes to see her mother. But she finds out that she left. She finds the contract she signed.
Dong-Eun feels painful when she works. She goes to the river. She cries in front of the river. Jae-Jun lies on Yeon-Jin’s legs. He asks her if Dong-Eun is pretty. She’s furious to let him leave her. Dong-Eun shows up when Sa-Ra is bullying the student. She asks Yeon-Jin if her dream is to be a wise mother and wife.
Yeon-Jin denies it. She asks Dong-Eun about her dream. Dong-Eun tells Yeon-Jin that her dream is her. She tells her that she will see her again. She laughs. Seong-Hui is excited after she knew that Dong-Eun is going to get into university. He believes that she’s going to get a boyfriend.
The Glory K-Drama: Episode 1 Ending
Episode 1 of The Glory K-Drama ends with Dong-Eun telling Seong-Hui that she’s going to go to somewhere. She leaves the factory and goes to the cafe. She orders a cup of coffee and runs into Yeo-Jeong. She walks out of the cafe and walks on the street. She wishes to see Yeon-Jin.
Ye-Sol thinks it’s a fairy tale after she heard Dong-Eun and her mother’s story. But Dong-Eun intends to use her hair iron to hurt Yeon-Jin. Ye-Sol wishes her mother to be the main role of the story. Dong-Eun tells Ye-Sol that her mother is the main role. Yeon-Jin becomes the anchor to present the weather forecast. Dong-Eun turns off the TV. She stares at the photos on the wall. She decides to take revenge.
