In the 3-4 episodes of The Rich Son Korean Drama, Young Ha runs into Gwang Jae at hospital because of her grandma. She recalls she dumped him when he saw her with flowers. Yong asks Kyung Ha to end their relationship because he thinks she toys him.
The Rich Son Korean Drama Recap: Episode 3
Soo Hee stops Gye Dong from waking Gwang Jae when he falls asleep. Gye Dong puts some cashes in his son’s pocket after seeing it’s empty, claiming that people feel safe when he has cash. He asks Tae-Il to buy Gwang Jae a car since he wanted to be a travel writer, but Soo Hee thinks his husband should send him to school. Gye Dong cries and says, “I should be grateful that he survived the labor. I couldn’t have asked for more.”
Young Ha is curious why Gwang Jae didn’t send his account number to her while looking at her phone. She asks Kyung Ha what is “center cut” and looks at her bag which is hung on the wall after knowing it means crocodile skin from breast area. Kyung Ha pushes her away after noticing Young Ha stared at her bag.
Won Yong asks Hyun Sook to lower the temperature and thinks he lives in the sauna when she is preparing breakfast. He asks Hyun Sook to marry off Kyung Ha, even if she claims she wants to marry a rich man. Young Ha claims she will be the rich woman, and doesn’t need any rich guy. Hyun Sook sneers at her and says, “Try not to borrow money from loan shark.”
Won Yong gives cash to Young Ha, and asks her to buy Soon Ok shoes, taking her out. But he rejects it when she asks him for removing the interest this month. Young Ha knows Soon Ok was in a accident and sent to hospital because of a motorcycle. She hits the guy who stands beside Soon Ok with helmet, Soon Ok scolds her and thinks she should hear the full story first. Then Soon Ok is sent to get x-ray.
Young Ha claims to sue Gwang Jae if he did something wrong on Soon Ok, he reveals her grandma fell when he tried to avoid her while riding. Young Ha is shocked after he told her that Soon Ok crossed at red light, and asks him to send her the receipt to her so that she can compensate.
Soon Ok asks Young Ha not to tell others her situation, as she doesn’t want to bother them, and let her go home, as she can ask Bok Soon for help. Tae Il runs into Gwang Jae at parking lot, he rejects it when Gwang Jae wants to drink together. Gwang Jae tells himself that if he needs to confess his love to Young Ha.
Won Yong set ups a blind date for Kyung Ha and a doctor after she returns home, and reveals he wants to show off to others that his son-in-law is a doctor. She gets angry and says that why her father has to do that, Hyun Sook reveals Won Yong’s sister died because of illness, so that he needs a doctor to take care of their family.
Gwang Jae knows Tae Il has a girlfriend after borrowed money from him, and asks him, “Who is she?” Tae Il doesn’t answer him but tells him that he is going to buy him a car tomorrow. Young Ha thinks Gwang Jae hits her grandma for getting money from her while taking care of Soon Ok. Won Yong asks her if she wants him to forgive her debts after Young Ha returns home. She thinks he doesn’t have to, as she already paid off most of the debts.
Won Yong broke into when loan shark forced Young Ha to sign new loan, he hit him and saved his daughter. He asked her to sign the debt repayment memorandum and leave school after she returned home. Young Ha dumped when Gwang Jae visited her with flowers, she claims she likes noodles more than flowers. He thought she didn’t have right to receive flowers and took it back, asking her to eat as many noodles as possible. She tore up after he left.
Hyun Sook reveals Kyung Ha is going on a blind date with a lawyer when Yong visits and is going to fix the light. Kyung Ha is awkward and asks her mother to shout up. The seller asks Tae Il what Gwang Jae does when he tests the car he picked. Tae Il says that he is the son of a rich man, it’s his job.

Mr. Nam breaks into and is furious that Soo Hee interfered he and Gye Dong’s business. Gye Dong claims it’s his idea. Mr. Nam thinks he is wasting his money. But Soo Hee reveals he ruined his business before. Mr. Name claims it was a mistake he made when he was young, and swears he won’t make it again.
Young Ha sees Gwang Jae playing guitar and singing in front of Soon Ok when she visits her grandma. She asks him to leave because he made her uncomfortable, but he lets her leave instead if she feels uncomfortable. Bok Soon asks Young Ha if Gwang Jae is her boyfriend, she denies it.

Hyun Sook decides to do the mom-matching after knowing the Lawyer Park is busy, and cannot go on the blind date. She runs into Young Ha while going on mom-matching, and is nervous when Lawyer Park reveals Young Ha is good at picking tea. Hyun Sook takes her daughter into washroom and fears she messes Kyung Ha’s marriage.
Kyung Ha tells Yong that she didn’t go on the blind date, but he thinks she toys him and wants to end their relationship after she gave him a slap. Bok Soon tells Won Yong that his mother had an accident and is in hospital, because she kept on wearing old shoes. He yells at Soon Ok and asks her why she didn’t tell him, wearing new shoes for his mom.
Hyun Sook laughs with Young Ae in the car after Young Ae reveals she set up a blind date for Young Ha with a guy whose family owns many restaurants. But Bok Soon sneers at Hyun Sook after she got off the car, says that she is a good daughter-in-law who doesn’t know her mother-in-law is in hospital.
Won Yong asks Hyun Sook that what she is doing here after seeing her visiting Soon Ok, she gets angry and reveals she is acting a good daughter-in-law, and yells at his husband, thinking they made her like a jerk. Gye Dong asks Gwang Jae what he can help him when he sees he is upset. He reveals it is about a woman, thinking dad cannot help him. Tae Il tells Gye Dong that he is going to China and sets up a girl for his position, and reveals she is smart.
