Why Eun-Yu Wishes to Kill Herself?

Se-Kyung tells Master not to call her again. She tries to hang up. But he laughs because he thinks she had fun to live someone else’s life. She admits it. She reveals she’s Eun-Yu. She adds that she’s Se-Kyung’s daughter. It flashes back. Eun-Yu tells Twinkling Watermelon Episode 7 that she hates her mother very much when she plays the cello. Because she doesn’t want to be like her mother.
The teacher is excited to praise Eun-Yu in front of Se-Kyung. It makes Se-Kyung laugh. She’s very happy when she looks at her daughter. Eun-Yu smiles as well when she looks at her mother. But she tells the episode that she’s not happy.
Se-Kyung is very happy when Eun-Yu gets a prize. But she leaves disappointed after she only got third place. She puts pressure on her when she plays cello with her in front of the guests. Se-Kyung falls asleep when Eun-Yu plays cello at home.
Eun-Yu’s father tells Eun-Yu to go out with him. He bikes with her. She thinks he will be the one who will save her but Se-Kyung gets a divorce with him. Se-Kyung wants to raise Eun-Yu alone. But her husband has a fight with her. Eun-Yu watches their parents’ fight. She cries.
Se-Kyung takes Eun-Yu to Grandpa Viva’s music store after Grandpa Viva passed away. She reveals the music store owner is her grandfather. She thinks she will be jealous of her for owning two fathers. But Eun-Yu only wishes to get one father.
Se-Kyung reveals she wishes to get her own family when she was young. She wishes Eun-Yu not to give up her. Eun-Yu promises it but she regrets for promising her mother. Se-Kyung takes Eun-Yu to a new house after she got a divorce with her husband. She tells her to focus on her music.
Eun-Yu ignores her mother. She walks into the house. Se-Kyung takes Eun-Yu to the clothing store. She lets her to wear the dress. But she finds out that she gained weight. Eun-Yu asks the madam to loosen up her waist. But Se-Kyung is against it because she thinks her daughter is going to lose weight.
Sang-A shows up. She’s surprised that Se-Kyung came back. She laughs when she looks at Eun-Yu. She thinks Eun-Yu is like Se-Kyung. Se-Kyung claims that she has a business. She tries to leave. But Sang-A stops Se-Kyung. She reveals she has known she got a divorce. She mentions there were many boys liking her. She laughs.
Se-Kyung laughs as well. She doesn’t stop laughing when she’s at home with Eun-Yu. She reveals there was a boy making a band for her. She tells Eun-Yu that her first love was in the band. She’s shy when she brings up her first love.
But Eun-Yu thinks Se-Kyung should get married with her first love. So she wouldn’t be born. She thinks what she meant is that she would make it if she didn’t give birth to her. Se-Kyung tries to explain it. But Eun-Yu tells her that she doesn’t want to be her daughter as well.
Eun-Yu packs her stuff. She tells Se-Kyung that she’s going to live with her father. She worries that she will be like her if she continues to live with her. Se-Kyung persuades Eun-Yu that she won’t be like her if she focuses on her music.
But Eun-Yu thinks her mother is using her. She tells her that her father left her because he didn’t like her. Se-Kyung is furious to slap Eun-Yu. She thinks she’s like her father. Eun-Yu admits it. She leaves the house. Eun-Yu goes to see her father Ji-Hwan. But a woman opens the door and she calls Ji-Hwan lover.
Eun-Yu leaves before her father comes. She walks on the street and she turns her phone off when her father calls her. She’s furious to throw away her phone when her mother called her. Some bad guys surround her. They wish to hang out with her. She’s furious to stun them. She runs away.
Eun-Yu cries. She thinks her parents shouldn’t give birth to her. She sees a music store. She walks into the music store. She sees many cellos in the music store. Master shows up behind her. It startles her. He introduces himself as the store owner. He wonders how did she find his store.
Eun-Yu reveals she saw the light of the sign. She rejects it when Master wants to give her a cup of tea. She wants to sell her cello to him. He takes a look at the cello. He’s surprised that he wants to sell the cello because he thinks she spent a lot of time on the cello.
Eun-Yu thinks she doesn’t need the cello anymore because she’s going to die. She reveals she wants to give up the cello because she thinks it’s very heavy. But he points out that the cello isn’t heavy at all. She reveals her mother is on the cello. She adds that she wants to kill herself. Master thinks Eun-Yu’s parents will be sad. But she wants to die after she got the money. He gives the cash to her. He tells her to go on a trip. She agrees to it. She walks out of his store.
Eun-Yu finds out that she’s at the airport after she left Master’s store. She takes a look at the magazine the man is reading. She finds out that she’s in 1995. She remembers Master persuaded her to go on a trip. She realizes that he arranged a time travel for her. The girl Min-Ji recognizes Eun-Yu. She calls her Se-Kyung. She wonders why she returns since she went abroad to study. Eun-Yu goes to Se-Kyung’s house. She realizes that there’s nobody living in the house. She smiles.
Do Yi-Chan and Chung-A Have A Date?
Episode 7 of Twinkling Watermelon returns to the scene where Master talks with Eun-Yu over the phone. He asks her if she’s going to give up on dying. She denies it and reveals she found the peaceful. She reveals she wants to find her mother’s first love. She plans to let her mother marry her first love. So she won’t be bore.
Master wonders how Eun-Yu will find her mother’s first love. But she tells him that she has found the guy. But he makes her double herself. He hangs up when she wants to know the truth. She wakes up in the tent. She realizes that her mother’s first love isn’t Yi-Chan. She takes a look at the group photos. She sees Eun-Gyeol.
Eun-Gyeol wishes his parents to take him away when the doctor is trying to save him. Yi-Chan wakes Chung-A up. He reveals she’s in the hospital. He reminds her that she passed out. She remembers he was with her when she was sick. He apologizes to her for his rude. He explains to her that he didn’t know she couldn’t hear.
But Chung-A tells herself that Yi-Chan is pitying her. She tries to get off the bed. But he persuades her to take a break. He’s taken away by the nurse. He returns to the ward. He finds out that Chung-A is missing. He sees the note she left.
Chung-A explains to Yi-Chan that the letter was given by Se-Kyung. She tells him that he misunderstood her. He runs out of the hospital. He chases her and stops her. He apologizes to her for misunderstanding her. He wants to buy her a meal.
But she ignores him because she doesn’t wish to let his kindness affect her feelings. He mistakes that she doesn’t forgive him. He asks her to go to eat with him again. But she tells him that she’s not hungry. He takes a look at her belly. He laughs because he thinks she told a lie to him.
She’s furious and she tries to leave. He stops her and he apologizes to her. He thinks the one who’s hungry is him. He asks her to buy him a meal because he paid her the medical bill. She eats with him at the restaurant. He asks her if she visited him for asking him for a help.
She denies it. He gives her fax number to her. He asks her to fax the message to him when she needs his help. He walks her on the street. He tells her to take the medicine because he wishes her to be healthy. It makes her smile. He says goodbye to her. She tries to leave.
But he remembers Eun-Gyeol told him that he will marry Chung-A. He stops Chung-A and he asks her if she knows Eun-Gyeol. She denies it. He tells her that she’s his friend. He calls her name. He leaves. She returns home. She’s very happy to lie in her bed. Because he called her name. She takes a look at the fax number he left.
Does Eun-Gyeol Return to 2023?
Yi-Chan posts Eun-Gyeol’s posters when he looks for him on the street. Se-Kyung takes a look at the photos of Yi-Chan and Eun-Gyeol. She remembers Eun-Gyeol made her pretend to be her mother. She thinks he had something with her mother because he knew her mother a lot.
Se-Kyung decides to look for Eun-Gyeol. She calls Yi-Chan. But he doesn’t pick up her phone. So she leaves a message to him. She asks him for a meeting up at the cafe. Someone sends a message to Yi-Chan. He tells him that he knows the whereabouts of Eun-Gyeol.
Chung-A passes by the fax machine store. She remembers Yi-Chan asked her to fax messages to him. She takes a look at the fax machines. She finds out that they’re very expensive. She walks away. She sees Yi-Chan running on the street. She tries to chase him. But she’s blocked by the car.
Yi-Chan goes to see the guy. But the guy doesn’t know the whereabouts of Eun-Gyeol. Yi-Chan realizes that he was fooled. The guy admits that he did it for the money. Yi-Chan refuses to give the money to him. The guy beats Yi-Chan with his friends.
Chung-A is on the way to look for Yi-Chan. Eun-Yu trips Chung-A when she rides the scooter. Chung-A doesn’t recognizes Eun-Yu because she wears a helmet. She runs away. Yi-Chan lies on the ground. Eun-Gyeol wakes him up. Yi-Chan looks around. He finds out that the guy left.

Yi-Chan remembers Eun-Gyeol asked him to stay with him for one year. She asks him where he is. Episode 7 of Twinkling Watermelon ends with Eun-Gyeol showing up on the street when he holds his guitar. He looks around and asks the guy about the year. The guy tells him that it’s 2023. He knows nothing about the music store. Eun-Gyeol realizes that he returned to the present.
