Lang Kun and Yang Biao carry a body to visit Wei Guang, and Yang Biao asks Wei Guang if he knows the person who has died. Wei Guang claims that he saw him, but Yang Biao thinks he not only saw him, but also knew him.
Lang Kun takes out the letter and thinks Wei Guang asked the person to send the letter to palace. Yang Biao shares that the person tried to burn up the letter when they caught him, and he ate the poison.
Yang Biao asks Wei Guang about the content of the letter, but Wei Guang claims that he doesn’t know and thinks Lang Kun has read it because he is furious. Lang Kun shares that the letter is nothing, but it contains three phrases when putting the two letters together.

Wei Guang admits that the letter was written by him, and Lang Kun yells that Wei Guang reported Yang Biao’s crime, also reported his crime. Wei Guang points out that Yang Biao ruined Lang Kun’s reputation, but Yang Biao talks back that Wei Guang united with the outsider to damage Lang Kun’s benefit.
Lang Kun tells Yang Biao to punish Wei Guang. Ning Zhi wants to see Wei Guang before he gets married, and spots Wei Guang getting whipped. She tears up and knows that Lang Kun had feelings on her.
Ning Zhi worries that Wei Guang gets killed, and wants to show up. But Wei Guang shakes his head. Ning Zhi realizes that everything was for her, and wants to save Wei Guang. The maid thinks she just gets in tiger’s mouth like sheep.
Ning Zhi decides to open a drama for Lang Kun, but the maid worries that she will get capital crime to fake evidence. But Ning Zhi insists on doing it. Lang Kun arrives and mentions the new show. The man reveals the name of show is fire dancing shooting star.
Ning Zhi casts fire to Yang Biao, and claims she intended to do it. He thinks she is a lunatic, but she points out that nobody will testify to him, if she is a lunatic. Ning Zhi shares that Yang Biao raped Xiao Li at the temple and threatened to kill her family.
People want to get the justice for Xiao Li. Ning Zhi shares that Yang Biao told Xiao Li that Lang Kun had feeling on her, and he would protect her. She thinks he badmouthed his master for the sex. Lang Kun orders to send Yang Biao to official station, and people beat Yang Biao.
Wei Guang carries Yang Biao to see Lang Kun and wants to get a doctor for Yang Biao. Yang Biao explains that he was wronged. Lang Kun asks Wei Guang if Ning Zhi said that the place is North Emperor Temple, and Wei Guang confirms it.
Lang Kun realizes that he was played by Ning Zhi, and shares that the temple is closed because the pillar was eaten by termites. He asks Wei Guang why Ning Zhi wronged Yang Biao, and Wei Guang thinks Ning Zhi’s behind is Guangping Prince, and their goal is to be against Empress.
Wei Guang offers to report it to Empress, and suggests Lang Kun not to take action. Wei Guang asks Yang Biao the feeling of getting beaten, and tells him it’s what he returned him. Ning Zhi’s mother asks her if she spotted Yang Biao raping Xiao Li, and Ning Zhi thrills to see Wei Guang.
Wei Guang reveals Lang Kun knew that Ning Zhi played him, and Ning Zhi admits that what she said isn’t what she saw. People worries that their heads get cut off, and Ning Zhi asks Wei Guang if she hurt people.
Wei Guang tells them to flee to north state and gives them the pass letter. But Ning Zhi’s mother worries that Lang Kun will take his men to catch them. He thinks they will defeat Lang Kun’s men if they follows his instruction, and asks them to take out the courage they had in the palace.
He tells them to go to the cave of griffin peak, and he will send his man to tell them the next plan. But Ning Zhi still worries about it. Wei Guang tells her to protect people since she brought the misfortune, but thinks she is kindness.
Ning Zhi asks Wei Guang if it will delay him to get married, and he says that he will think about it later. The official reports to Lang Kun that Ning Zhi took her men to flee to meridian mountain, and Lang Kun tells him to catch Ning Zhi before tomorrow.
But Wei Guang reminds Lang Kun that Lord Zhang is hard to surround meridian mountain since he only has ten men. He offers to set fire at the south side of meridian mountain because it blows south wind, and Ning Zhi will panic to flee. Lord Zhang will catch her at the north side.
Lang Kun agrees with Wei Guang’s plan. Wei Guang asks his man to hand over the bamboo tube to Ning Zhi, and Lord Zhang’s men begin to set fire. The lady reports to Luo Ying that the men set the fire, and Luo Ying asks people to pack their stuff and leave.
But the man worries that the archers will shoot them. Luo Ying receives the letter from Wei Guang, and he tells him that the north wind will come, and the fire will only burn the person who sets fire. Luo Ying thinks she cannot trust anybody, but Wei Guang.
Lang Kun yells at Lord Zhan for burning themselves and asks him if he knows his sin. Wei Guang comforts Lang Kun that Lord Zhang didn’t expect that the south wind turned into north wind. General Yang visits Lang Kun, and Lang Kun wants to borrow men from General Yang.
But General Yang thinks it breaks military order to lend men. Lang Kun promises General Yang 500 gold if he can get Ning Zhi’s head. Ning Zhi receives the letter from Wei Guang, and there is a troop will catch them. He thinks the greed and fear will defeat the soldiers.
General Yang takes his men to arrive at meridian mountain and asks them to arrest Ning Zhi. Ning Zhi receives the letter from Wei Guang, and it can only be read by her. He tells her to fight for her friends and families, and thinks she only has hope when she is alive.
Ning Zhi promises to be alive. General Yang gets in the cave, and the man flees out and shares that there are many fierce birds inside. General Yang’s men get attacked by the birds, and they flee to step on each other. General Yang returns in his men’s help, and reveals there are many fierce birds in the mountain.
He shares that most of his men are dead and wounded. Lang Kun asks Wei Guang how to flee from the sin, and Wei Guang wants to think about it. Ning Zhi thrills to see Wei Guang, and Wei Guang tells Luo Ying that Lang Kun’s goal is Ning Zhi.
He offers to take Ning Zhi to draw the men’s attention, and Ning Zhi sees off Luo Ying and tells people that they will meet again. Wei Guang tells Ning Zhi that they will be safe if they climb over the mountain, and she says that she doesn’t fear when he is there.
He is lost when she intends to kiss him, but goes to dance when seeing fireflies. He tries to catch the firefly, but fails. Ning Zhi catches the firefly, and Wei Guang thinks if he can light her road ahead, he will be happy to burn up his life.
He reminds her the meteor, and she makes the wish. Ning Zhi feels sorry that Wei Guang is against Lang Kun for her, and worries how he goes to get married. He tells her that he knows her feeling, and takes her to flee when Yang Biao arrives with his men.
Ning Zhi and Wei Guang are shot, and they fall off the cliff and get into the water.
