This is the recap of Go Go Squid! Chinese Drama 2019 Episode 3, Tong Nian mistakes Shen Zhe as Shang Yan as they use same game account “grunt”, and goes to see him. The team members of KK mistake her as Shang Yan’s woman after seeing they were close, and let her in their camp.

Wu Bai tells Shang Yan that he is very handsome while playing game. Shang Yan tells the team members that that Tong Nian is his man in the game, and it makes Tong Nian happy. Tong Nian tells Dou Nan that Shang Yan protected her in the game because he knew that she doesn’t know how to play game. Dou Nan thinks Shang Yan abandoned Tong Nian because he didn’t appoint the next game. Tong Nian realizes that she didn’t ask Shang Yan for leave because she needs to take part in an event of music.
Shang Yan goes to buy baked wheat cakes, and the shop owner tells him it’s 8 yuan per baked wheat cake. But Shang Yan points out that it was 1.3 yuan 10 years ago. He remembers that Wang Hao offered to order 50 baked wheat cakes, and promised not to let members hungry. Shang Yan wanted to borrow some money to help the club. Wang Hao rejected it and believed that they will get good results. He had a dream to get ctf accepted by more people like pingpong, and wanted to get the world champion. Ai Qing echoed 50 baked wheat cakes.
Shang Yan takes the baked wheat cakes back and knocks at the door waking up members. The woman stops him as he made a hole last time while knocking. Tong Nian leaves message to Shang Yan that she will go to Guangzhou for two days. Tong Nian is surprised to see Shang Yan leading members showing up at the airport, and she follows him. But he rides bus and leaves. Mei Mei informs Tong Nian that the event will begin. Tong Nian arrives and apologizes to fans for being late, but they can understand it.
Tong Nian asks Mei Mei if she knows any basketball game nearby, and Mei Mei reveals the ctf game her husband likes is nearby. Dong Nian realizes ctf members wear same clothes to basketball members, and asks the worker which team wears black clothes. The worker shares it’s KK. Shen Zhe have a stomachache in the lobby, and the woman offers to get a substitute. But Shen Zhe rejects it. Tong Nian is blocked by the worker as she doesn’t have a ticket. Ai Qing passes by and mistakes Tong Nian as Shen Zhe’s fan.

Ai Qing tells the worker that Tong Nian is SP’s guest, and takes her in. Shang Yan recognizes Tong Nian and wonders why her boyfriend didn’t come. She grabs his clothes and tells him that he won a prize in a lottery. The members spots Shang Yan talking with Tong Nian, and thinks she is their big sister-in-law. Shang Yan walks in the lobby and asks about Shen Zhe’s health, and the lady thinks Shen Zhe has gastrorrhagia.
Tong Nian hears that Shen Zhe gets gastric colic and wants to return the hall. But the security guard pushes her out. The girl gives her plate of Grunt Love to Tong Nian after knowing she likes him. Tong Nian drags her luggage and arrives at KK’s camp. The member mistakes Tong Nian as Shang Yan’s woman, and lets her in. He wonders why Shang Yan didn’t give work card to Tong Nian. Tong Nian wants to buy ticket to support KK. The member lets Tong Nian in the lobby, and she asks grunt if he is ok.
Shen Zhe and Tong Nian are surprised to see each other. Shang Yan takes Tong Nian out, and she realizes that grunt is the womanish who wears glasses. Shang Yan thinks Tong Nian went to look for him, and points out that she takes Shen Zhe’s sign. But Tong Nian explains that she just passed by to watch the scene of bustle. Shang Yan points out that she lied to him, and Tong Nian asks him why they call him big boss. Shang Yan explains that he provides foods and clothes to the members, and Tong Nian thinks he is a planner.
Shang Yan asks Ling Shan to take Tong Nian going to hotel, and Tong Nian is surprised that she needs to go to celebration dinner. Shang Yan tells team leader that Tong Nian is Shen Zhe’s girlfriend, and the members mistook her as his woman. He asks her to care for the member’s healths, but she thinks he always make her a nice person. Team leader leaves and goes to see Tong Nian.
