This is the recap of Go Go Squid! Chinese Drama 2019 Episode 4, Team Leader asks Shang Yan why he took Tong Nian to eat since he doesn’t have feelings on her. He thinks that he has duty, and intends to send Tong Nian home after she is full up.

Ling Shan tells Tong Nian to get in the bus while calling her big sister-in-law, it makes her feel awkward. The members asks Wu Bai where Shang Yan got the girlfriend. Wu Bai thinks Shang Yan is aged to have a girlfriend. But Tong Nian thinks Shang Yan is handsome than the members.
Team leader reminds the members not to eat raw and cold seafoods, and mentions Shen Zhe. She tells them to take care of Tong Nian. Shang Yan wants to leave while seeing Ai Qing and Wang Hao, but team leader stops him and reminds Ai Qing that they have a game tomorrow. Ai Qing cheers up both teams, but Shang Yan points out that there will be only one champion.
Shang Yan leaves after knowing President Xiang just wanted to get him and Ai Qing, Wang Hao to have meal. Ai Qing and Wang Hao chase out, and Ai Qing wants to drive Shang Yan. But team leader rejects it. Team leader reminds Shang Yan that they won the game, but he doesn’t expect that it’s hard to ride car together after they’re rich.
She thinks that she hurt them, but Shang Yan doesn’t intend to blame Team Leader.
Ten years ago.
Wang Hao gives red envelopes to members in the bus, and announces that they got champion of Beijing station. He flatters Shang Yan that he is the idol, and Shang Yan offers to get more champions. Xiao Mi takes out beer, and drinks with the members. Ai Qing is excited to see Tianan gate, and wants to win honor for their country.
When the members introduce themselves to Tong Nian, Team Leader takes her to see Shang Yan. Tong Nian thinks they can talk in the restaurant. Shang Yan is close to her face, and reveals he wants to talk some personal things. Team Leader comforts Tong Nian that Shang Yan won’t be fierce to girl.

Tong Nian is surprised to see Shen Zhe, and he asks Tong Nian if he looked for Shang Yan. Shen Zhe thinks Shang Yan get him to carry love debt, and tells Tong Nian to speak out if she likes Shang Yan. Tong Nian admits that she looked for Shang Yan, and Shang Yan asks Shen Zhe to get out.
Shang Yan asks Tong Nian why she likes him, and she shares that she visited him because she mistook him getting stomach bleeding. Tong Nian gets a call from broadcasting station, and she has to use Shang Yan’s bathroom. She gets an interview from the mc, who asks her about her interest and the man she likes.
Shang Yan invites Tong Nian to have dinner together, and she agrees with it. Dai Feng spots Shang Yan giving candy to Tong Nian in the elevator, and misunderstands it. Team Leader asks Shang Yan why he took Tong Nian to eat since he doesn’t have feelings on her. He thinks that he has duty, and intends to send Tong Nian home after she is full up.
Dai Feng returns and shares Shang Yan ate candy, guessing he is going to rage. Tong Nian takes less foods as she doesn’t want to leave bad impression to Shang Yan, but it makes Shang Yan thinks that she fears him. So Shang Yan gets two members to chat with Tong Nian, and they find out Tong Nian is a music player.
Shang Yan warns the members not to call Tong Nian big sister-in-law, and sees her off. Tong Nian thinks she won’t see Shang Yan again, and tears up in the car. Wu Bai tells Shang Yan that grandpa wants Shang Yan to call him. Shang Yan uses Wu Bai’s phone to make a call as he doesn’t want grandpa to know his number. Grandpa asks Shang Yan to get marry and have a baby.
Tong Nian finds out that Shang Yan is a famous player in ctf, and asks Mei Mei’s boyfriend about Shang Yan’s affective experience. He shares that Shang Yan loved Ai Qing, and thinks they were best match.
