In the 15-16th episodes of Ashes of Love Chinese Drama Recap, Xu Feng is sad after Jade Emperor gives marriage to Run Yu and Jin Mi. But he doesn’t want to give up, and sends rice dumplings to her. Shu Xian and Yan You decide to flee, and Yan You asks Jin Mi for help. But Xu Feng arrives with guards of heaven.
Ashes of Love Chinese Drama Recap: Episode 15
Note: From here on out there are specific plot spoilers for Ashes of Love Chinese Drama Episodes 15-16.
Luo Lin knows Zi Fen loved her and gave birth for him after being dumped over one millennium. He holds Jin Mi’s hand, and enters the palace of heaven. Luo Lin asks Jade Emperor to take back the spiritual power from Jin Mi, and tells him Jin Mi is his daughter.
Jade Emperor asks Luo Lin to tell him Jin Mi’s real body, and Luo Lin says she is a frostwork. Jade Emperor takes back his spiritual power, and betroths Jin Mi to Run Yu. Jin Mi doesn’t refuses it. Xu Feng is furious, and takes off the phoenix hair pin from Jin Mi.

Run Yu wants to return phoenix hair pin, but Xu Feng claims phoenix hair pin isn’t the only one she gave Jin Mi. Jin Mi thinks Xu Feng wants to take back his spiritual power, and robs the phoenix hair pin, and places on her chest. He leaves with sadness.
Hui He reminds Xu Feng not to forget Jin Mi is his sister-in-law, and he cannot fall for her. Luo Lin tells God of Wind what Zi Feng did for them. God of Wind feels guilty, and wants to take revenge Zi Fen. But Luo Lin tells her that Zi Fen doesn’t want them to be involved in it, and they decide to protect Jin Mi.
Xu Feng is sad alone, and Yue Xia comforts him that it’s not late since Jin Mi and Run Yu doesn’t get married. Xu Feng likes to share stuff with Run Yu, but he doesn’t want to share Jin Mi. Yue Xia suggests Xu Feng to clarify her intention, and they won’t break up if they love each other.

The spy reports to Xu Feng that the man in black entered Luo Lin’s house, and didn’t come out. So Luo Lin and Shu Xian are suspects. Xu Feng thinks the man in black wants to instigate he and Luo Lin, so he withdraws the army, and lets the man is black relax his vigilance.
Shu Xian apologizes to Luo Lin, and tells him that he made Jin Mi show her real body. Luo Lin thanks Shu Xian instead, because he helped him find his daughter. Shu Xian asks Luo Lin to play the evil chess puzzle, but Luo Lin rejects it since the chess puzzle is too murderous.
Hui He complains to Queen about Jin Mi and Run Yu. Queen thinks Run Yu wants to fight with Xu Feng, so he asked Luo Lin to marry his daughter to him. She wants to marry Xu Feng to Hui He, but Xu Feng refuses it, and reveals he wants to live with the girl he loves. Hui He heard what he said, and hates Jin Mi.

Luo Lin avoids Jade Emperor after knowing the truth, but Jade Emperor doesn’t want to lose his best friend, and asks Luo Lin for his forgiving. Luo Lin obeys Zi Fen’s last wish, and forgives Jade Emperor. Jade Emperor promises Luo Lin the big wedding for Run Yu and Jin Mi.
Ashes of Love Chinese Drama Recap: Episode 16
Run Yu asks Jin Mi to sign the marriage contract, and praises his handwriting. She tells Run Yu that Xu Feng forced her to practice handwriting when she was his maid. Run Yu gives his pet to Jin Mi since she likes it.
Jin Mi notices the epiphyllum doesn’t bloom, and Run Yu tells her a sad story about epiphyllum and Wei Tuo deity. Yan You breaks through the Southern Gate, and is found by guards of heaven. Shu Xian saves Yan You, but he finds out someone visited his house. Yan You complains to Shu Xian that he framed him at Queen’s birthday party, and Shu Xian thinks Yan You shouldn’t save Jin Mi.
Yan You predicts Run Yu will fight with Xu Feng for Jin Mi one day, and Jin Mi is his best friend. So he doesn’t want to involve her. The follower reports to Xu Feng that he found Shu Xian’s trace. Xu Feng informs Run Yu to arrest Shu Xian, and sends a gift to Jin Mi. Shu Xian finds out the letter in his house disappearing, and asks Yan You to flee first.
Liao Ting takes rice dumplings visiting Xuan Ji palace, but Kuang Lu blocks him. Liao Ting has to leave the rice dumplings with temper. Kuang Lu gives the food box to Jin Mi, but keeps the red rope inside the box. She tells Jin Mi to forget Xu Feng since she has fiance.
Xu Feng and Run Yu discuss how to catch She Xian, and the follower reports that She Xian went to Xuan Ji palace. Run Yu is flustered because Jin Mi is in Xuan Ji palace. Jin Mi is eating rice dumplings, and hears Yan You’s voice. She forces him to show his real body, and he tells her that Xu Feng is chasing him. She decides to help her best friend.
But Xu Feng shows up, and draws Jin Mi to him. So the guards surround Yan You, but they’re defeated. Xu Feng and Run Yu have to take actions, and Yan You is defeated.
Shu Xian shows up, and saves Yan You. Xu Feng recognizes Shu Xian is the man in black, and hits him. Shu Xian gives the intelligence he gathered to Yan You, and asks him to flee.
Yan You takes Shu Xian to the palace of heaven, and admits his sins. Queen hands over the letter to Jade Emperor, and thinks Run Yu is Shu Xian’s partner. Jade Emperor has to call Run Yu to the palace of heaven. Shu Xian makes the decision at the same time.
