Li Zhicheng treats Teng Ye with Japanese food, Teng Ye mentions the importance of ingredients. Li Zhicheng says that he wants to do top product and Teng Ye a favor. Teng Ye agrees. Chen Zheng wants to cooperate with Teng Ye, but Teng Ye says he is negotiating with Li Zhicheng. So Chen Zheng raises the bid. Li Zhicheng has to drop out.
Lin Qian meets with Varna in the hotel and finds out he is her alumni. He goes to restroom, she tells Li Zhicheng that they got along and asks him to prepare the contract. Li Zhicheng is pleased. But Varna tells her that he changed his mind because someone gave him a higher bid. Lin Qian is stunned.

Lin Qian apologizes to Li Zhicheng and is curious who would bid double Varna. He reveals their competitor is Ning Weikai, and comforts her that he will solve the cloth problem.
The next day, Ning Weikai asks the secretary to get the contract. But she thinks the price is too high. He asks her to obey his order. Grace asks a pretty woman to be close to Zhu Han, and mentions Ning Weikai signed the contract with double prince and got rebates. Zhu Han is furious.
Ning Weikai scolds the designer in the office. President Zhu and Zhu Han break into. Zhu Han blames Ning Weikai for the contract. President Zhu asks Ning Weikai to report them before signing contract.

Lin Qian and Li Zhicheng visit Varna at gym. Varna says that he decides to sign the contract with New Baorui. Li Zhicheng smiles and tells him there is a matter in New Baorui. Varna calls Ning Weikai. Ning Weikai pretends he is processing the contract. Varna suspects it and worries about the loss since the product is shipped out. Li Zhicheng smiles that he will help him.

Lin Qian goes to Aidi company to talk about the clothes with President Huang. But he doesn’t want to see her. She reports it to Li Zhicheng and mentions President Huang is a veteran. Li Zhicheng walks into President Huang’s office in Chen Yayi’s help, and gets the deal. Lin Qian admires Li Zhicheng. He reveals President Huang missed the time being a soldier.
Li Zhicheng trains employees to run, but Lin Qian rejects it because of her flat feet. He trains her in person, and she has to accept the training.

Lin Qian suggests Li Zhicheng to ask his younger sister for dinner to get along. But he scolds Li Jinyuan to stay away from Chen Zheng. She ignores what he said and leaves with anger.
Ning Weikai meets with Lin Qian in the restaurant. Li Zhicheng shows up and announces that she belongs to him at that time. But Ning Weikai thinks Lin Qian should have rest time. Li Zhicheng checks his watch and claims it’s working time, and takes her away.
Lin Qian blames Li Zhicheng. But he claims all of her time belongs to him according to the contract. She compalins that daytime is her rest time since she needs to design during evening, and thinks she didn’t sell herself.
She returns office and finds out Gu Yanzhi set the massage armchair for her. When she checks the massage armchair, Li Zhicheng presses the switch and touches her by mistake. Chen Yayi sees it and asks Lin Qian if she fell for their boss. Lin Qian says that she doesn’t support office romance.
Lin Qian tells Li Zhicheng that the raincoat passed the test. But he thinks the raincoat shouldn’t be tested in the lab only, and wears it to run in rain. He runs into Lin Qian who has same intention, and asks her to go home.

The next day, she knows Li Zhicheng didn’t come to office, and finds him at the raining place. He tells her that his limbs didn’t leak water, and thinks the test was effective. He reveals how he fought the flood with the comrades in arms, and wants to design the raincoat to protect those people.
Li Zhicheng visits Lin Qian in the office, and eats hot pot with her. She asks him why he hired her, but he denies her conjectures. He reveals that he thought she was an automatic rifle when they first met. She burns her hand and washes it in the restroom. He takes her hand and asks her to wash it at least five minutes to avoid the blisters. She thinks he is considerate, and feels warm.
Li Zhicheng escorts drunk Lin Qian home, and finds out the room is a messy. He turns off the light, the drug dealers attack him. Li Zhicheng beats them up.
Lin Qian stares at Li Zhicheng and realizes that he was the soldier who saved her. She asks him if he saved her in Yunnan. He nods and says he recognized her early. But she didn’t. He thinks her security sucks and asks her to move to the house next to him.
